We pretty much said same thing , you look at the team - minns - couldn’t get a game at fev , butler at least 3 stone overweight , Croft hasn’t played a game in ages, Lineham overweight and crap, Lino just a waste of space , Gaskell actually looked scared when some one runs at him , I could go on but pretty pointless 3 years of awful recruitment and it shows

I watched Croft play for Newcastle against Batley a couple of weeks back. He got torn a new one by part time players. The lad is a way off regular super league rugby yet.

I got off my sun bed to find they are nearly scoring a point per minute. I would like to think the club would finally accept that you can only keep reducing the quality of the squad before it catches up with you. We may just have done enough but the next 4 games for Toulouse will probably decide it.
We cannot hope to ever progress on the field if we think signing championship and lower level players is the answer. We are destined to lose some of our actual better players and who can blame them, but we will still be stuck with Gaskell for another season and Lineham for two.
The club can constantly quote how little we spend on the salary cap but they have had long enough to increase the revenue streams but obviously have not been able to do so has I have said before. I know we have lost some Sky money but so did Salford and it doesn’t seem to be a problem for them.
