Well after this game on Friday, we have a couple of Away games so it should get time to recover. Don't know what the clubs plans are but may be a good idea to try and avoid training and reserve/junior games also. I am sure if we can get into spring and just take it steady with use it will be OK.

Tough one really because Lineham wasn’t at fault for those tries last week. It was Corey Hall who was at fault and he’s lucky to be in this week.

Probably Mash wants to look at Kershaw.

For me our best recent form was with Murphy and Kersh on the wings. Kershaw also offers better impact and kick returns imho.

Will be interesting to see who he puts at full back.

I would consider using one of those old Victorian turnstiles, we have plenty at the ground and they would certainly offer more resistance than Gaskell.

Pitch has passed inspection, so the games definitely on. We should see thus as an opportunity to boost our finances, and seek sponsorship from Savlon.

Its the sub structure that's synthetic (5%?) so when the grass is worn or not yet thriving there is less of a protective natural layer above it.

It’s almost totally grass with a membrane underneath that stops root damage , but obviously needed time to grow and thicken , which has been impeded not only because of the season and frost but plenty of traffic

No Connor or Naguarma named in the Giants squad, that's 2 less to worry about.

No doubt replaced by Pryce and Bibby.

I think the Giants squad is probably the deepest in the comp this year. I think they lack the top quality to be troubling the top 3 but for teams like us they will be a huge challenge even if they are missing a number of their regulars.

Do you think with news of Max missing, you will look to try and get Shaul in on loan again?

If he was available, we could afford him and he wanted to come, we'd be foolish not to.

Hudds are just about the worst team we could be playing next, they stick to Watsons structure and game plan, they are relentless when it comes to mistake free Rugby, high completion rate, no risk, hand the ball over on opponents try line, kick to corners, quick line speed etc etc. Plus of course they are aggressive, tough, hard running, pride themselves on defence and have a couple of players who can create and break down a defence.

But apart from that........

Said in his pre match interview with JD that him and the players have had some honest and open conversations after the Wigan defeat at that he couldn’t look Kershaw in the face if he hadn’t given a chance after that performance to now show what he can do . Wish I was as calm as Mash Is going into this game .

Think Sam would miss out, but his time will come this season.

Kay is a better option at fullback them Gaskill. That said every player in the whole squad is a better option at full back rather than Gaskill.

He played well at FB v Leeds last season (at Headingley).

If those in front of him do their job, he will be ok. Mind you, that's a very big if and let's face it, if they dont do their job, we could have Billy Slater at FB and it would make little difference.
(btw, I'm not saying that Gaskill is anything close to Slater)
