Its not a lot is compared to every other club in SL, may just explain a few signings or lack of them.

JE also defended our players fitness levels saying we are as fit as everyone else, it's just that we don't have good "game management" and are defending too much.

JE sounded annoyed that our younger players don't seem to be getting into the first team.

We've actually made less errors than anyone else in the league so aren't defending anymore than anyone else does. We may be as fit as other teams in terms of howmany laps they could run round the pitch but we aren't as strong as they are. We rarely win a collision which takes it toll and this is down to the way the players are conditioned. Thus we are not fit enough for rugby league.

We must be the most hydrated team as the lads are always stood under the posts having a drink.

We've made less errors due to the fact that we don't have the ball as often as anyone else.
2nd most penalties conceded in the league, 4th most tackles made, least carries, least metres.
The fact of the matter is we are defending much more than we are attacking and that takes its toll.

I got that impression too - don't know if it's a bit of wishful thinking on my part, but it didn't seem to be taken seriously.

I get the feeling that we're likely to get someone who is a relative unknown, without the profile of Nobby or JK or even Agar.

Did make me chuckle when someone told AG that an internet rumour had Karl Harrison as the favourite - his reply: "Who's Karl Harrison?"

Ultimately its because we are $h1te. If, including the young lads, we have 17 players signed up for next year then we need 10-12 quality additions to the squad to be competitive next year and a whole new first-team coaching staff to get the best out of them. Should make for an interesting off season.

I think we're about to have an off season that looks a lot like Salfords from last year stadium issues included, except I hope we have a better coach picking the players we recruit.

What impressed me about last nights meeting was that we seem to have a structured plan of how to develop the club from the playing side youth set up first team etc through to the new stadium, community and retail. I'm really excited about the future of our great club
