I believe that both Agar and JW had similar issues with certain players Sammut in particular which has escalated to a situation where JW lost the dressing room

For all his faults Riley seems to be one of the few players who look genuinely hurt at this horrible run. I'd say stick Johnstone on the other wing, and get rid of the slacker currently occupying the 1 spot.

Someone said smith had a great first half. I think with the possession we had he didnt control the game enough. A couple of decent short kicks. But I saw little else. If he plays and the team roll their sleeves up then we will see.

What about Owen at fullback. He played there for cas for a while. I know he played junior rugby at fullback too. I wouldn't want to stop Jowitt getting a. Few games but Owen has been one of our better players

I am not sure if he is one, but from some of his efforts this season (especially defensively) I wonder if Hall is one of the players that doesn't care. I apologise if he isn't one but it is just my opinion from what I have seen.

And as i put on the interview thread here exactly is the problem now. Hall might be one, we don't know. But people will now suspect anyone whether guilty or not and thats not good for those who are giving it their best shot.

Jowitt's our only recognised full back, would it be ridiculous to give him a chance to prove himself when all else has failed, he can't be any worse than the players we've used, if he's going to kick on then give him a chance to prove himself if he's not ready just yet then so be it, at least we've tried something different, the other two young uns didn't let us down why should he.

That is subjective as the various combinations are endless.

Actually, it doesn't matter who wasn't bothered under Webster.
It's all about who wants to play for Trinity now.

Whoever is in charge for the weekend should tell the players that they need to regain some pride and impress the new coach, who is sure to be
taking an interest in Sundays game.

Although I agree that the youngsters deserve a chance, we have to get back to performing and Sunday is the first chance for the senior players to show that they want to play for Trinity.

It's fairly obvious that a number of players didn't want to put it in for Webster (for whatever reason), let them show that they want to play pro SL.
If they still aren't bothered then lets go with a few more youngsters but, we still have to try and get back on track and find some form for the back end of the season.

Well from what I have been told this morning one player told by Webster he was going out on loan has now been told he is not and in squad for Sunday.Both under Agar and Webster he would get the odd game pull up tree stumps even at prop even though he is not big enough for and be then shipped out on loan/dual reg.OK he has been injured this season so New York bar has part of his wish come true will we also see Sammut come in from the cold.This set of players with the exception of a few need to start and give it some as who knows like us looking around the ground for potential new coach he could be there looking at his potential players and if like me and many more if he thinks any of them are just going through the motions they might not make his squad and then who would look at giving them a contract due to attitude.
