Personally prefered Manchster,cheap hotels,not too far to travel thought it was my best Magic weekend.

That's our Travelodge booked, £22 pound a night for a family room!! 2 Booked.

I don't mind the venue - I do have an issue with the concept though; the manufactured 'derby' games don't work and give some teams an unfair opportunity to pick up 2 easy points.

There are numerous ways to produce some interesting draws for the weekend, but I'd prefer 1 v 2, 3 v 4 etc etc; given that it's something of a showcase event for the sport, one would assume that tough, competitive games between close league rivals would be an attractive proposition.

Doesn't work - the games would be as close or one-sided as they are for the derbies. Teams change in performance from week to week, month to month - never mind year to year. Besides, who better to beat than Cas!

Loved Cardiff & Edinbrugh. Manchester just doesn't have the same appeal for me. Fingers crossed for Catalans during the summer

At Magic week-end Leeds have never lost.

Getting married on the 25th but new it would probably be same weekend. Just hope we dont open it like last year. Could do with the teatime kick off so we can hit the bar while they get the room ready for night do. That's if we are playing saturday.

Atmosphere at Cardiff?!? When we went no one was there! No atmosphere at all!!!

I could be tempted to make a day of it in Manchester though...

You mist the Wakey v Cas game when we put 50 pluss points past them then, the atmoshphere was great, we had the second largest following that year mate, its the atmoshphere round the ground and in the pubs that does it for me, Manchester is just a day out and not the weekend.

Manchester every time for me, I'll be staying over anyway and make a Weekend of it!

it's just not the wembley weekend. Which cannot be beaten. I've been to Cardiff, enjoyed it, but is a damp squib compared to Wembley and 2 nights out in central London. BRILLIANT!

As much as the idea of the weekend is potentially a good one, sitting in a 3/4 empty stadium with no atmosphere takes everything away from the experience for me.
