Soon, I really, really hope, we will be in a new ground, though you couldn't help but laugh at the sheer comedy of that van trundling up to the tunnel side and obstructing the view then slowly reversing and doing it to everyone in the portakabin end, just as, with perfect timing, we are taking a kick at goal! Loved how he just pulled in front of the bars in the stands blocking off everyone's view that was on the balcony's. Then like previous people have said and then finally got to the proper position and then got the score wrong. We really do need a proper score board because that one's on the wall now just look poor and amateurish.

...I used to be the scoreboard operator throughout most of the 80's, and am positive I could do a better job than the current "man-in-a-van"....but only if you ask nicely

Yes you did along with my brother. Those were the days when there was a brick built scoreboard behind the posts along with a clock, both of which could be seen from every point in the ground I believe. Also remember I stood up there with you both Dec 1983 when Hull were the visitors and Sterling & Lewis made their respective debuts.

the mobile scoreboard has turned up on time this week....but 3/4 of the ground can't see it

lol where was it! and I'm still looking for the damn game clock! Might have to pay a visit to (formerly) Chav Corner for the next match.

I saw it and I'm pleased to tell you all that West Yorkshire Windows were still advertising their JANUARY sale!!!

We were near chav corner in first half and north stand in second and could not see any scores.

We could see the old score board small matrix display though that has the mobile number to call to report someone on. Given that that message never changes why not put that on a sign and have a score (which does change) on the matrix display?
