It is entirely possible that due to danny's financial circumstances vis a vis HMRC that the deal has being done in such a way that he is getting less money per year but spread over a longer period of time to maximise his financial position at the end of his contract rather than at the begining .


For someone like Brough length of contract may have been as important if not more important than the amount of cash on the table now.

All what has been coming from your forum from the shall we say more vociferous posters is apart from you dont do fees is that Shudds dont need him, probably because they didnt think in their wildest dreams he would ever come, and now you have him you have got the player you want, and we have benefited in the short term. All we have got is the best available deal under the circumstances due to Brough having his head turned. I am sure that most people on here would sooner have Brough for the rest of the season, but thats life.
