No disrespect fellas but if thaiday is available i'd be very surprised if he ended up at wakey as i'd expect half the NRL and the nearly every club in SL to be chasing him!!

Apparently he's like Pitts was about your lot. It's 'his dream come true' to play for Wakey. Never underestimate how many SOO and top flight NRL players see the pinnacle of their careers as hopefully one day running out underneath an inflatable cat to the roar of the Hearwell crowd.

I'm sure he won't be short of options should he be released by Brisbane Broncos, but the salary cap may influence where he eventually plays his rugby next year.

To many people's displeasure Wakefield look like cementing their place in this year's play-offs and with the promise of a new stadium may be we are attracting a higher calibre of player.

Shane Tronc and Terry Newton may be the first signings of a new era of top-class signings by Trinity, Sam Thaiday may well have heard about the great harmony that many players speak of when playing their rugby with Wakefield Trinity.

I hope this is true because he would make a huge difference to the team as a whole.

If you get him good on yer i don't really rate newton anymore maybe he'll show decent form now he's got a fresh start but tronc is a very good signing imo.

Big Sam is one one of the best go forwards in the NRL and has been for the last couple of seasons. If we were to sign him I would show my bits in the con club before every game next season. (oh no what have i said). I would expect just about all the NRL teams would be in for him. However it did say in either the Leaguer or the League express that we were about to
announce the signing of Shane tronc and another high profile NRL player.
Hope its not time for me to sign up for one of those Pen?s enlargements.

I really cannot see this being anywhere near the money, or wakefield having anywhere near the money to tempt him away from a rep career in Australia. Were he ever to become available he would be one of the hottest properties on the market on both sides of the world.

As for Idris i hope that was a sarcastic comment.
