Valuable assets are often separated from main company for protection purposes - no reason to have different owners though and if MC is stepping down absolutely no reason he would require ownership over the stadium. Hope it gets sorted and truth comes out soon enough

What amazes me is, all these people who are on facebook, twitter, on here seemingly 24/7, when do they actually do any work?! I get on here on my breaks and at lunchtime, and occasionally on a weekend.......haven't people got anything better to do than live on social media???! Truly a lot of sad individuals who possibly need something else in their lives.......

A quick search on companies house shows that currently MC & JM are directors in one registered company only and that is "Spirit of 1873 LTD" no other company, so if there is a so called management company looking after the stand, its either listed as a charity or neither of these 2 guys are on the BOD of it.

this is correct BUT the trustees of 1873 are, yes you guessed it jm and mc. This apparently was done to stop anyone doing what manny did to the club, however when and if the new owner buys the club as trustees they can charge a rent for which they are asking 200 grand a year to use the stand, add to that 200 grand a year repayment to the council, the directors loans which they are realy in no position to take and I'm also led to believe we took a massive covid loan which mc said we didn't. If the new owner pulls this deal then jm and mc are left to pay the bills and as I look at the current situation we're skint.

There are 4 trustees.
And they do not personally receive money if they charge the club rent.
There have been other trustees who resigned when they gave up their shares in WT.

I have no idea of the details, but it still sounds like someone causing mischief by twisting some pretty standard facts.

Being a trustee is not the same as being a director, "Spirit of 1873" is the company that holds all the assets listed (and liabilities) at WF1 5EY,
You're making up a scenario for an agenda that doesn't exist, the only way that a separate company could demand what you're suggesting, is that if that company held the asset of the stand, which it doesn't. Trust me I'm no MC lover and he's probably the main reason I no longer attend games, sponsor players, purchase season tickets, contribute to commit 6 and play for the PDRL team or have anything to do with the club & community trust as a whole.
But there is some mischief going on here, there's a clear light at the end of the tunnel and some are wanting to throw boulders in the way.

if they drop their stupid demands then there will be nothing to explain, your distrust of anything said about the club is mnd boggling sometimes pt, I'm just trying to explain things and that by being trustees of 1873 they have some hold. Having made that announcements surly the best thing to do now would be to give an update..
It would appear a problems hit the deal.

You seem very quick to take the high ground with anyone who 'makes things up.' Maybe i'm just p****d off with everything right now at the club, we can't get the stand finished without the politics that go with it, there's nothing at the club on or off the field without a seeming conspiracy, agenda, some hidden motive by someone, it's all one big mess and seriously depressing. I've been a fan for over 30 years, and yeah we've had to put up with mainly crap, but it never felt as bad as this. It's like the club is just slowly being swallowed up by some great big black hole......

Yep, you're right I shouldn't have criticised, by and large the people who come on here, are fair, decent and care about the club. It's just you wonder about some people's motives sometimes......like I've just said on another thread, it's just all very depressing at the mo, and you question yourself, or I do, why bother anymore!!

Anything I posted about Hewitt would have been from a quote on the media outlets. Can't remember what I said but it sounds reasonable.
