Good win against a Salford team who seemed a little off the boil but competed hard. Bringing in Gale was a great move, but I still worry that we haven't got enough time to turn the season around and for far too many, this will will see Applegarth off the hook

I think it’s time we stopped talking about the coach for a while and back him.

The outgoing owner appointed him but didn’t back him, our incoming owner didn’t appoint him but is seemingly backing him.

Next month or so is huge. Let’s get behind him and review in 5/6 weeks time.

The whole atmosphere around the side has changed since Fifita came back, even Atoni looks like a SL prop !
Gale has fitted in really well and is leading the side around the park properly.

For those who say there isn't enough time, well maybe you're right but, with Cas still to come, at home, the gap is getting close and we've halved our points deficit tonight.

It's 2 wins out of our last 3 games now, come on Trin !

Tonight was comfortably our best performance of the season, against a decent Salford side.

It's amazing what confidence can do.

Adding Gale means everyone knows what they are doing. Every player looks slightly better because the passing from both Gale and Dagger is crisp and accurate.
Jowitt looked good because he had fast ball to hands at full speed.
Atoni looks better because Gale is barking at him to tell him where to go.
I'd like to see Hugo back on the wing but Kershaw played well today and Lineham held his own against Burgess.

I don't know whether we'll survive but I'm enjoying watching them to find out.

One or two things spring up, where the hell has Hood been all season? he was superb yesterday!
Same with Atoni - the guy was running with purpose -in fact the whole team look a lot more confident and ABLE to play RL
the Dagger/Gale pairing seems to work - worth pursuing again I think!
It's surely no coincidence that all this has come with the arrival of Dave and the inclusion of Luke Gale - and what a masterstoke his signing has been - better late than never-should have had him at the start of the season.
IF we beat Wigan and it's a big IF I might start getting optimistic but for now at least, enjoying seeing some effort.

Enjoyed the win but I reckon we need another 6 wins to stay up, tough ask even accounting for the upturn in form.

Think the reason we are moving the ball better is down to Gale coming to the club .Was impressed with the way he was barking out the orders from the first minutes of the match and did not stop .Pity we got him at the very end of is career .You could see why Castleford went so well when he was in is prime .As not change my mind about going down ,It took15 games to start playing any thing like rugby ,against Leeds, Beat Wigan and Huddersfield, and I could change my mind ,but at present think it is too little to late ,and shows what bad decision were were made by the club on recruitment ,at the beginning of the season

Absolutely not. He's the reason we have only won around 10% of the games this season and why we are languishing at the bottom of the table still four points adrift.
