Interesting comment from Ian Blease stating shirt numbers will be determined after the Boxing Day game as players need to earn it as it is no longer a given.
So would imagine us putting a reasonably decent squad together for this game.
Be even more interesting if Jack Sinfield has a blinder and gets the 7 over Frawley!!


Saying that getting the shirt doesn`t mean he will get picked ahead of him come the start of the season.

Pretty much looks like Leeds starting 13 other than Miller.

Probably for about 15 minutes then it will be all change just like us. It’s a good way to sell tickets giving the supporters a chance to see the new signings.

True, though Leeds appear to be starting with a lot more of their starting team on paper.

To say the Trinity team has a lot of firepower out of still looks highly capable. Good to see.

I would imagine Newman also making the 13 as well as Miller.
Newman needs to have some pressure on him the way he played last season.

I did think he was very lucky to get in the England squad tbf.

He is still playing though I think but on the bench, no doubt will play a good 40 mins or so.

Oh dear, SARL reporting Leeds are missing a massive 6 players (including 4 young players). However will they cope against a full strength Trinity missing Jowitt, Johnstone, Pratt, Mckmeeken, Hood, Pitts, Atoni, Griffin, Bain, Doyle and Matty Russell.

Makes you want to throw up. I often feel like that when I read anything about them.

It's a friendly so it's all about performance both individually and as a team rather than result but I'm particularly keen to see Russell and Trueman together. They are the key to our whole season.
