Hull are poor it required Warrington to probably have their worst game of the season to help hull win yesterday. Didn't wolves make 3 times as many errors as FC yesterday. Hopefully this will paper over the cracks and widnes seem to have a good go at them so hopefully they might do us a favour on Friday.

Wire did drop down to Hull's level, but it made for an exciting game.

I thought Hull's defence was the difference

Hull have fine-tuned their slowing down at the ruck - they get plenty of men in and take an age to get up; that really stifled Wire's ability to get a quick ptb, which they rely on - effectively, M Monaghan and Higham were rucked out of the game.

It also didn't help that Briers chose a CC semi in which to go missing.

Indeed, and the last man up gets a sudden case of jellylegs and starts tripping up and rolling all over the tackled player - it's the latest dirty trick that some coaches are using to slow down the ruck and for mine, it needs sorting.

I still think we will win our home games, we have widnes and Salford before the cup and saints 2 weeks after.

For us to make it we need to win all our home games (Bradford, Saints, Cas) and hope that Saints can do us a favour by beating you. If you win all 3 of yours we won't do it I don't think (big ask for us to beat either Hudds or Warrington away)

oh dear, we are poor are we? granted the last few league games we have been but we also turned wire over at their own ground this season, hardly a fluke, some bitter wakey fans on here! fc's defence was fantastic and forced wire into errors! shame you cant see that and give credit where its due!

Don't pick one post and then generalise about all Wakefield fans. Some quite supportive of Hull.

Like all the Hull fans who claimed the only reason we beat them at the KC was because you were poor, not because we played well and didn't allow you to play well.
Don't come on here telling us to give credit when it's due - fans of every club we beat come on here to tell us that the only reason we managed to beat them was because that's the worst they've played all season.

Personally I thought Hull were good value for their win on Sunday and thoroughly deserved it. Good luck to you in the final, I just hope that your players have that on their mind and take their eye off the ball in the league.
