Would love to see the game v Bradford the week before the Cas game

Yes, that’s the one where Jason Demetriou had that incredible run from his own in goal area, that typified his passion and commitment, lifted the whole team. Just as an important game, as the Castleford away a couple of weeks earlier, the one with the No fear message on the aircraft above the ground. Trinity won 18. 0, having 2 players sent off, that was a Sky game also. I would love to get hold of recordings of these two games. Sadly they aren’t available on Trinity TV.

Is that the one where Dave March got yellow carded twice by Ganson?.

Main problem with SKy+ is that I don't bother DVD recording the games any more. I used to record all Wakey games but now just have the ones held on Sky Box since the start of my most recent Box Upgrade.

Will have another chance to work out who it was who did Danny Nutley over early doors. It was either Korki or Obst who cracked him one in a tackle. It's the fastest punch I've ever seen. Even in slow motion you couldn't work out who it was.

Was a brilliant game, then had to wait to see Castleford result.

Is that also the one when Marchy suffered a head and walked into the rook totally disoriented and got penalised.

Think that was every fan's lasting memory of JD. What a star! Was that Ryan Atkins' first game for Trinity?

Atkins debut was home v Cas. Think he scored but we lost.

I thought that but he doesn't look to get near enough. Unless it was a sly one through the other's hands. Monty's best punch was the one on Karl Pryce. He wasn't right for months after!

Yes it was,even from the other end of the field you could see Marchy hadn't got a clue what was happening and good old Ganson sin binned him for interfering with play or whatever, I'm nearly sure that was the second time that night he gave him 10 minutes.

I always thought the never fear thing was earlier in the season at Cas when Tommy Saxton??? nearly forgot to put the ball down?

It was and Sky did include it in the build up last night plus Tommy Saxton's try from that game. That's what I meant by "pre match", various clips from the 4 from 6 period. They never include the shot of that woman taking her top off in front of the cameras after the win at Bradford though.

The Castleford game was 5th August with the no fear message and Tommy Saxton’s try. The Bradford game was 8th September, with the Jason Demetriou run from in goal, and the rather well made lady removing her top in front of the Sky’s big screen showing the Salford v Cas result

Think its about time sky showed one of us actually beating cas rather than all the highlights from last 3 or 4 years when we havent good to see players you forget about like catic and mcgillvary too and imagine if we had solomona down that left side now

I have a sky box with this on it but I no longer have a subscription so can't watch them.

What i would love to see again is the run-up games up to the 2006 million pound game with Cas especially the bradford game, but i don't know who as got the tv rights or even if they will still have it on file anymore.










Up the Trin

The win at Bradford was a great night and really set us up for the MPG and ultimately survival in SL.
The final hooter and the news that Cas had lost at Salford was brilliant and our win, coupled with the Cas loss, gave us all the momentum that we needed.

Kear was the mastermind but, JD and Solo were superb in that game.
The run from JD just to clear our in goal typified the man and the determination that Kear put into that group of players.
It was shocking that that squad was facing the drop but, at least we survived.

JD said in an interview that Solo ruptured his bicep in the Bradford game but wouldn't come off and played the MPG injured too. He said it ultimately shortened his career but he knew he had to play to keep us up so took a big one for the team.
