Really looking forward to this game.

Two sides that are playing well and on the up.

Think in the same fixture last year we went shoulder to shoulder with them for the first 60 minutes. We did though pick up multiple knocks in the game and ran out of interchanges, ultimately running out of steam.

Hoping for a good performance and us to nick it. This and a good pint of Snowies would be a good early birthday present

I dont think there will be any let up by Cas. Every point that Cas can get now is a step closer to the home tie for the playoffs come September.

I actually think we are one of the most likely teams to beat Castleford given the local derby factor, however I am not confident. I am hoping we perform to our best ability and then I will take the result whatever way it falls. Cas are playing excellently at the moment, so if we get comfortably beaten then so be it, as long as we perform to our best and don't do ourselves any injustice.

Also on a side note, it would be nice to get a decent referee for a change. Hoping for Thaler as I feel he is probably the best.

Looking at the other games, Hull to beat Saints and Catalans to beat Wigan will suit us well.

Working on the basis that we [ushould[/u be able to beat Saints at home, surely them beating Hull will be more favourable to us keeping Hull just a point in front of us assuming we lose to Cas.

It's great to be looking up the table, dreaming of a top 4 spot, rather than looking back over our shoulder.
I know that we are second favourites on Thursday and by a fair distance but, IF we could beat "a small town in Wakefield", what would that do for our club ?

Since top 8 is now secured the only thing any team should really be focusing on now is trying to get in/stay in the top four. So for that reason I hope Saints beat Hull.

Looking forward to this one, should be a cracker of a game. Gonna be tight I think, and the 'local derby' factor throws the book out of the window for me. All about who wants it more on the night.

Wakefield getting 8 start with William Hill so, perhaps it will be tight.
You didn't, by any chance, pick a host of injuries up in the Hull game ?

Earlier in the season I think us Cas fans would have had this down as a given but not now. I thought the Cas defence was awesome against Hull and the only time they threatened us was that last 15 minutes when they had to throw caution to the wind. perhaps that's the way to go for you.

should be a good game, going to put a real ale hand pump on for the first time in the away end in the bottom corner so look out for it

Cas by 10. Wakey are much improved at home so I think it'll be a good contest this time.

Looks like you'll lose Reece Lyne who I think is a cracking much improved player.

Losing Lyne would be a blow but Arundal is more than capable of taking his place. Not as fast but better with ball in hand and a good defender, which we'll need.

The Codheads.....we ain't, and we have some monster (for us) players out, I see this game as about defense, game management and a smash and grab near the end.
