They won't as they still have some quality but since then they have lost Mantellato, Allgood, Donaldson & Boubdebza plus Walker has his off-field issues to worry about. If we can't beat them this week we never will.

Agree with trying for more rotation and keeping forwards fresh, however Gibson for me is on a sticky wicket, he was poor against Fev and cas in friendly and was misreading tackles and going walkies leaving Lynne exposed, he really needs to have a blinder,, as at moment his defence is shocking and teams are exposing that side,

I agree. They are no easy beats. However they are more than likely to be one of the teams we need to beat if we are not to be bottom.

Mantellato will be a HUGE miss for them, the guy is quality both as a player and goal kicker.
We need to be up for it and try and dominate them from the off, try and get them feeling sorry for themselves

. They just never gave up and kept on coming. Donaldson was by far their best forward but he is injured now. Mantellato will be a big loss too but I thought Pecker was a real handful all match coming out of the back.

The way they are going no. The way they can play yes. Can the defence keep Rovers to less than 10.....i think they can.

I'll be disappointed if they don't win but it still wouldn't be the end of our season.

He'd leave out a fit again Mikael Simon, who was arguably our best forward last season, and instead of replacing Anderson who imo does not deserve to be dropped with a like for like replacement in Simon, he would replace Anderson with Annakin instead of replacing an out of touch Kirmond.

Let's just be pleased that he's not on the coaching staff.

the problem with leaving Kirmond out. Who as the postional sense to replace him. Molloy hasnt got a clue how to play second row

I don't have a problem with playing kirmond vic, I just used Annakin who has earned the right imo to get into the starting 17 in the context of bojo's post.

Hopefully Annakin will be back in this squad this week (despite his knock on Saturday)
I'd keep Walton in, fetch Anthony Walker & Mikael Simon in too.

I think molloy has got far better positional sense than kirmond. The reason we are conceding so much down our right side is because kirmond has gone walkabout. Watch the widnes game again, our right side is much stronger defensively while molloy is on the field.

At the moment i would have kirmond behind Arona, Tupou,Ashurst,Simon,Molloy, and Annakin in my pecking order. Although playing Walton as rotational back rower given the other options we have there seemed a strange decision to me.
