Good player but Wakey can't afford a renegade, with his own agenda.
A team like Wakey needs players working within a structure.
Not much of that been happening so far but obviously Smith has taken the decision that he doesn't want the distraction of Sammut around to interfere with his plans.

That's what a lot will think of him although he is the captain of the NSW cup team and is only 28. It's what Brian Smith sees in the players that'll count.

Don't think Miller did much wrong covering fullback today. Probably could've done with some longer studs in though.
For me the stand out waste of a shirt for quite some time now has been Riley.

We get rid of a player who supposedly brings problems and for this reason some of you are happy to see go to suggest we bring in another who also has baggage. He is also unlikely to get a visa, with regards Williams he is not the player he was after he sustained a string of serious injuries which whatever you think of Smith he cannot repair.

Agreed. He's played well each time he's been there, without necessarily looking like a proper fullback!

In the case of Dane Nielson, His issues are off the field and aren't much different to those of Monaghan, Carney, Bird etc who still manage to be great players on the field, which is where we need it.

Sammut was a bad influence off the field and not that great on it, for us at least, so nothing like the names suggested above.

Can't agree. He didn't do much wrong but as he spent three quarters of his time slipping onto his backside so for me can't be classed as being very good. The lad needs some new studs.

I can forgive you on Agar and Webster but when one of the most successful coaches in RL history takes over and shows the guy the door after less than 10 days! It should tell any reasonably intelligent person all they need to know - but alas not you.

What's so hard to get here - he never got a chance you say (even though he got plenty) - why - because he never came close to deserving one - get over it.

No doubt now he will become one of those legends that never was who got away that you and a few others love to create.

Seems clear that he never actually wanted to put his all into the club... Will be remembered by me as a failed project. A failure by the club to manage him and a fail by himself for wasting his talent!

If Sammut was that good as in some peoples eyes then why were the top coaches not knocking the doors off the hinges at BV for his services some time ago.
