The picture is an Avro RJ aircraft one of which I had gave me the biggest fright & most fun I have had flying through a thunderstorm over the Alps.

Mine was originally going to be Fat Lads Mate,who posted on here as Fat Lad At The Back and is a good friend,but the wife said it was a bit insultive,hence Big Lads Mate which Also ties up with growing up round Painthorpe and surrounding areas when I always seemed to have big lads round me that helped when round Wakey and bumping into Lupo's or the Streethouse lot.

Bren2k is the start of an email address I've had for donkeys years; the avatar is an Ossett Brewery beer that happens to look a bit like it - I think they named it as a mark of respect.

Upthecats obviously upping the wildcats....was always more a trinity man than wildcats but thought i would put the cats bit in to stay with the times...was nearly 10 years ago now!

Avatar is William Buick....one of the very best jockeys in my other main passion in life horse racing......being a pro gambler he's done me many good turns.....theres actually one or two I prefer more now but he must have been top of the list the last time I could be bothered to change it...which was a while ago!

i wanted a funny avatar like some others i have seen, but just as i thought oif one, someone seemed to have it, so i plumped for perry the platypus from the disney cartoon phineas and ferb. perry is cool and leads a double life if you don't know!!!!

My forum name is self explanatory. My Avatar is me with my Dad at the WMC having a Guinness together. As its a RL forum & he took me to my first Wakefield Trinity rugby league game I thought I better stick him on. Additionally he's my mentor & best mate. Someone who has always been there for me especially throughout the bad!! We still support from behind the sticks to this day. My eldest sister has always been and now my 3 nieces go.

It's a good thread. It's interesting as some people on here have sensible, passionate and or interesting debates against , misguided, bitter and or belittling. I don't necessarily mind people not displaying their actual name and debating but profiles set up with a bitter/biased motive spoil decent debates. It's easy to hide behind an unknown title and lambast someone or something.

Avatar is one I made after Glover took over, phoenix from the flames in a Trinity kit. Maybe time for a rethink.

The name is from a short story collection about baseball from one of my favourite writers, WP Kinsella, called The Further Adventures of Slugger McBatt. He wrote Shoeless Joe, which became the film Field of Dreams.

I used to wear a full green kit, and im a big lad.
1 game 2 Gypsy kids started calling me hulk then 1 turned to the other and pointed out the hulk wasnt fat! so they called me flubber because i bounced around alot (one of my better games) one of the away fans overheard and it stuck.

I based my name in homage to the idea that a forum enables one to retain an amount of anonymity. The Scarlet Pimpernel was of course recognised for his ability to be a master of disguise, elusive but honourable.
I don't have an Avatar because my computer skills are also on a par with my user name.

My forum name comes from my own name Les and the other bit comes from my CB radio handle and that came from the motorcycle cop in the first mad max film - Goose so ....les-goose

Kinleycat- the two things that consume most of my waking thoughts.
Kinley is my little lad and the cats are..obv!!
One brings Joy the other balances that joy with total dissapointment!!
It also helps me to remember at those difficult times that Wakefield trinity needs to be their for him, however ive took him to fev (friendly) and Hull KR away so far this season and he's not that fussed about having them!!!!!
