So, finally we can pull the plug on a season that started so brightly, and ends so pathetically.

After the win against Leeds, so, so long ago, I really thought we were in for a big season, now I’m so glad we haven’t made the play-offs. The way it’s looking, we could have been travelling to Shudds, for another battering.

Ironically, where we finished, wouldn’t make a blind bit of difference to our future, but a least we averaged 8th over the last three years, a vast improvement on our recent history.

I wouldn't have mocked you then - although we were always outsiders. But I, like many, believed that the squad we had could have been top 4. We have lost 3 players - which we could have done through injury - so the rest need to accept a huge part of the blame for their 'sulking' throughout the year!

I still think we have a cracking squad TRB (albeit on paper) and when I try and point the finger only Gleeson really springs to mind. 1 player, which isn't bad for any sports side. If I could put my finger on what is the underlying issue for our teams underperforming then I'd be the coach.

I think fundamentally the side need to enjoy their rugby (like we saw when we finally got a comfortable lead against Hull FC) but under Kears tactics fun doesn't come into the equation.

We were devoid in attack (apart from the first 15 mins where we actually looked sharp) poor in defence and massively lacking in confidence.

Once Bradford went 20 - 12 up there was only going to be one winner.

Boring and weak.

Our defence is consistently poor. Kear doesn't know how to address it. When we had Brough we could gloss over it as our attack was strong. Now we've nothing.

Don't forget the Kear to Catalans episode! When Brough went we had a dip in form but I felt our performances were not that bad. After the Catalans approach, things just went down hill a whole lot faster! You get the impression the guy just doesn't want to be here.

Anyway the squad are going to be back in training on the 1st of November. New fitness coach wanted first.

When is somebody in power at the club going to take responsibilty for the disgraceful, uninspiring performances? The usual guff about key personnel leaving doesn't wash.

To go 12-0 up against a team as devoid of confidence as us and then capitulate yet again is simply not good enough. 90% of the senior players underperform week in week out, the captain must dip his hands in baby oil before a match he coughs up so much ball. Yet the same excuses are peddled out by Kear. Surely his position has to be untenable now?

You can't even blood any younger players either, how are they supposed to gain any confidence and develop playing with sulking idiot senior players who disappear without trace as soon as they cross the whitewash?

Sorry i should have said the coaching team. But the point stands, when is our defence going to be upto Superleague standard

You can't say they were really sharp in first 20 mins and then say they are incapable or the coach is rubbish when they don't keep it up. I'm sure Kear didn't ask them to play well and then stop. They just need to tidy up the squad in the off season and start again.
All the drama queens who keep threatening to tear up the season tickets, you know you'll be back next year.

From my point of view, although we were poor overall there were lots of things that were good. The penalties didn't exactly help, and I thought we through the ball round well in the second half. Didn't always come off but at least they have it a go.

I didn't think Gleeson was so poor today for those on that band wagon. He got some terrible passes, some of which he still made into something. If I was losing someone Blanche would go for me today, and Leo-Latu.
I wish we could kick more high ball for Milled. Apart from Richards there aren't many better.

I won't be going to Salford so that was last game of a long tough season. Here's looking for better next year.

How can you possibly say fans just wait for something to moan about? 12-0 up to 34-12 down against a team who have won 2 games out of 14! Against us! Embarrassing!

What about Hudds twice, Hull KR, Saints, Wigan twice. Cas etc. You don't really have to wait too long to moan about something do you! Any fans who can have turn a blind eye and not have something to say about these displays must not be right in the head.

If this result wasn't on the back of conceding well over 200 points in the last five games you'd have a point.

I'll be honest enough to say I'm dreading next season if this is what we have to put up with,

not even an urgency from the kick off at 26- 12 down to try a short kick to get possession back,

no 40/20 attempts,

no grubber kicks at players to force a knock on,

no support for the man with the ball

no kicks behind the line to force another set of six,
bradford ground is renown to the ball holding up in the corners but did we utilise this? no

But my impression is that some, and I accept its only some, moan at the bad times but then go quiet if we do anything good.
It's over now anyway. I'd rather we look towards next season.

We are just not good enough and from what I hear regards recruitment then its unlikely to get any better next year. But a step in the right direction would be getting the players to put 100% effort in which right now they aren't doing. Sadly the only way to do this is to change the coach. He's lost the dressing room and you can't change 20-odd players but you can change a three man coaching team. Thanks for everthing JK but its time to go before our team dies a death and your coaching reputation is damaged beyond repair forever.

today was a do or die situation, we had to win and by plenty to give our selves a slight chance,

started of fine but then just threw it all away, we lacked a controller in the middle, BJ went awol again as we know he can and sam ran his nuts off as usual to try and compensate, if we had stuck cooke in the mix I doubt we had got much better but at least he could of done the kicking, not once did we seem to make them turn around to get the ball

The recruitment may not be 'top drawer' but we can get only what we can get.

IMO we're not THAT far away anyway. The answers lie in getting everyone pulling in the same direction at the same time and playing as a team again. That a few changes would do me just fine!
