We've made a great start and we've done really well to get the wins we have and the points on the board. Any Wakey fan would have taken where we are now at the start of the season for sure.

However, it all means nothing if we don't make the top 8 at the end of the season.

We fell away badly last season and IMHO I think we let ourselves down in the 2nd half of the season.

I sincerly hope we don't do the same again.

the best and most loyal core group of fans

and somehow, despite everything in 2008-9 we are doing ok, in fact better than ok.

top 8 in this season after all that has happened would be one of the greatests achievments of the club, ever., and i mean that, whatever the history and die hards say.
its a battle against adversity and impossiblity and we are doing bloody well.

We did not play well at all and a poor first half gave us a lot to do but with 10 minutes left I thought we were going to pinch it. Bradford scored 12 points in the last 6 minutes which gave a flatering scoreline although to be fair they were the better team on the day.

I thought the video ref decision with the Ferguson try was a little harsh and if the game had not been on SKY I'm sure the Brough & Ferguson tries would have been given. If Sculthorpe had not had a hold of Newton's shirt for the briefest of moments the try would have been given as in my opinion Newton ran into Sculthorpe.

But it was not to be. JK has to sort out Grix's flank because thats where a lot of the damage was done. For me, next week I would bring Gleeson in on the wing instead of Grix, move Martin to 6 and play JD in the centre. I'd also give Winterstein a run, may be a bit of a gamble but certainly Wigan won't know what to expect from him

Sorry to say, but for me he can leave Grix & Gleeson out next week!! We have been found out and they are the weakest link. Some games in the A team won't go a miss.

Just a quick word to say how pleased I was to see Richard Moore playing for you guys today.

It was the first time I'd seen him since he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. I know what a painful condition Crohn's is (not first hand thankfully, but a close relative) and I did fear it may be the end of his career but was chuffed to see him playing today.

Hope he goes well for you for the rest of the season.

Don't disagree but we are struggling for the wing unless you bring in Luke George but I thought he was not fit.

The Brough try was harsh, but was technically the right decision. The initial challenge was fine, it was the fact that Sculthorpe pulled back Newton with his hand, even if it was the minutest of touches.

as soon as someone passed grix, grix would immediately start moaning and looking for someone to bland tame even if he could have gone back. He's no winger. Regarding peterson he must have played well as if he didnt there would be a thread about him, he hasnt played in along while and for me it was a satisfactory comeback.

RL is all about momentum at 16 20 we had it but Moore lost silly ball in our 40 and at that point the game was lost as poor as we played last night this
