Bit harsh - what if the lad is genuinely havin a rough time of it bein forced to watch from the stands, and always injured in some fashion. I think we should hang on and see, because what i'v seen of him - i'v liked.

we would have been better signing a complete novice. This bloke is a waste of time money and a shirt, it may well not be his fault, but what I have seen is not good enough, and he cost us a place in the CC final last year IMHO.

Repercussions of that being displayed now as it looks like we're skint and having to sell one of our best players. The money generated from a cup final appearance would have stood us in good stead for this season.

Yep and every other club now realises we are hard up and will be making a play for the rest of our main assets. Atkins will be next out of the door cos good english centres are as rare as rocking horse .

Well if he's that hard up himself that he needs to take from the club both money and our valuable assets (best players) then its time he left. We all need to make our feelings known at the shareholders meeting - the time has come (again) for change and the sooner the better. Let someone n who wants to take the club places. Can't believe a share holders meeting has been put back because someone needs to go abroad to sort out his properties. Proves where this certain someones loyalties lie.

mine is that he did not cost us that game, the sun was in his eyes and Hull played a very tactical game kickin it high to him,

can i remind you that he scored twice and set one up in that same game and also made 2 very very important tackles,

the only thing that cost us a place in the final was Danny Broughs boot but he had an off day with his kickin and it happens!

I remember Petersen hert is arm bad in the 1st tackle of the CC cup semi. LAtu has been a good player for us yes he has put on weight but he is a good player. Look how good he was for Tonga. Murphy or Blanch could hardley be dropped before but it was strange Petersen was not in sunday must admit. If you are saying this what about Scully he has been utter tripe for us and he will be on nearly the most £££

2.5 years I believe. He's here next year as well - but he must prove his fitness!

In hindsight he hasn't been a great signing but hopefully if/when he returns to action he will make up for his prolonged absences from the team.

TBF if Stosic still finds himself kicking his heals a third into next season then some may begin to question his signing too.

The difference, I think, is that Stosic made a telling contribution in a team playing well where as Peterson played in a team low on confidence and who couldn’t buy a win. Wingers generally do not dictate how games pan out (Aincough aside!!!) so he wasn’t really able to show what he could do.

True - but it wasn't his fault that he was delayed getting here. If he'd arrived earlier he would have joined a winning side - and things could be well different.

I don't doubt Petersons ability at all - if he can get through this. It is not un-common for players to suffer pulls and strains when returning from long lay-offs.
