....Especially as it starts by saying Jackson is off to Cas because they need to make way for Sculthorpe. I thought Jacko was pretty good against us.....and Scully wasn't!

Without knowing the contracts possibbly offered by Wakefield and Castleford. I'd hope we'd do everything possible to keep Snitch at Wakefield without going OTT.

As much as i respect Morrision and know the quality he can offer on the pitch i'd rather we look a little farther than one year.

Gutted that Snitch is leaving but as always if a player doesn't want to play for us then so be it. Best player this season will be a big loss.

Snitch has been our best forward all season and had no injuries. This is madness why do we always appear to lose our best players?

It would seem from what has been said on here that we offered him a deal and he turned it down. Not much you can do if a player doesn't want to play for you. Dunno about the 2 year deal if so I would hope we are getting something in return and I don't mean Evans.

I heard snitch was offered a good 3 year deal and all but agreed before turning it down. Snitch was not wanted at all, by any super league after leaving hudds. kear rescued him only for him to run. Kear has done a great job at reviving players careers and yet there is no loyalty shown. it dissapoints me but i,m sure the fact that the clubs future is uncertain is nto helping keep our younger players which is why we are attracting the older yet still quality players.
I just wish we would stop being a pit stop for players in terms of their careers.

Just shows the quality of Snitch when no-one has a bad word to say on here, usually when someone is rumoured to be off the knives come out.

Gutted to see the lad go and a great signing for Cas, but what can you do? Money talks, and if Cas are prepared to offer more then so be it, I can't criticise Snitch for going for more money as you have to look after yourself with it being such a short career.

I think superleague and the contract system for players will mean that there will be an increasing merry-go-round of players and very few players will get into long service.. and fewer will reach testamonial status.

3 years/ seasons at one club will be a long stay.

also as the numbers of good young players increases there will be a greater surplus of choice on youngsters...

He will be missed but I cannot get how a player under contract can agree a deal with another club how can a release come into play unless a fee is met to buy out the rest of his contract? Surely the club must of told him he can talk but still he signed for 2years so a fee is needed to compensate what he is paid even if he has rejected a new deal.

Players may aswell not have contracts as they just don't appear to be in existance no more

Been great for us this year, but wants to move on, IMO more journey-man style than anything else.

Will he settle at a club for more than a few years, and does it matter:-

a) to the club he has just joined?
b) to the fans of the club he has just joined?
c) to the fans of the club he has just left?

It certainly shouldn't matter to the club he has just left.
