Griffin, ability wise at least, was just about the pick of the props at the time he was with us (until it all went sour during the great escape, or was it just before at TS's last match away at Hudds?). Technically and physically he was an extremely good prop, and he showed this at Huddersfield in the main - I do think you have to question his attitude though, and he also seems to have gone backwards from what I have seen of him at leeds. Certainly didnt do owt against us in the play offs.

I'll take a wild guess at one being Griffin and the other being Jay Pitts.

A little bird tells me that we're in for two big props, both of whom would add significant grunt to our pack.

Don't know the names but Agar told me we're 'sort of' closer to bringing in a prop. Got a couple lined up but a player will need to leave to free up the money and he thinks we'll only get one of the two. My money would be on Kirk being one target but as for the other I really don't have a clue! (Kirk being a guess based on rumours I've heard earlier on in the off season).

Griffin potentially but we have no chance with Walmsley. He has a dual registration in place to return to batley for the forthcoming season if he is not playing 1st team for saints. he is already training at Batley once a week so for me that is a no go.

i would like to see walmsley to wakefield but from what i know of the guy he is lookig forward to turning out for batley when not on saints duty and repayinng the club who had so much faith in him last year and also for giving him the chance to move on to playing full time rugby league.

I would question whether some of the above are any better than we have let go - why would we want Ferguson back - do we need another second row forward? and I would also question whether the others would want to come knowing that they would not be an automatic first choice prop.
