In the i newspaper this morning there are serious allegations about payment not being made into players' pensions although this is disputed. There appears to be some very serious issues surrounding money at Featherstone and I would have thought the RFL would have stepped in by now.

There were serious money issues at Crusaders and Toronto a few years back, with players/suppliers and supporters not getting what they were entitled to, if only someone could see a link with all these, I'm sure it could be prevented in the future

Salford had money problems a few years back as well.

If only there was one obvious connection between these clubs, they could maybe get to the bottom of it and prevent it from happening again

I think we have been guilty of all these financial situations from not paying contractors and players so maybe we are not in the best position to comment on others about their historical failings.

On the contrary, Scarlet, it could be argued that we are very well qualified to comment on such matters as we are all aware of our woeful financial issues in years gone by, but fortunately for us, MC and JM came in and settled the ship and we now have our knight in shining armour in Matt Ellis who has promised that we will never be in such a dire situation again

Yes, fortunately were not in that situation, and as far as players wages are concerned, that goes back to the pre Glover era

Went over to wigan last night and although wigan wernt great sheffield look a very good, well organised team, they play very hard and direct down the middle and throw it about realy well. I suppose it depends on injuries but they are no easy beats

On more than one occasion I have stated that Sheffield are in contention for the championship, I put them in-front of Toulouse, Bradford and Halifax, their only issues is depth of squad if they get injuries/suspensions

Leon Ruan gone on loan to Doncaster for a month, a stand out at academy level, wouldn't have minded seeing him come back give the age of our second row.

Yes I agree, think he would be one to watch possibly thought he had a lot of potential at academy level. He’s a player who in a couple of years could become a good impact second rower, had a good pair of hands too I recall.

I have seen Ruan twice on tv for Leeds,the first time he looked ok,the second time just recently, he came off the bench at,I think,Headingley and did absolutely nothing.He looked totally out of place.Not trying to knock the lad, but that's what I saw.
