I think it's a reasonable enough rumour to put out. The way things are going down the pan, Kelepi and many others will be free agents come the end of the season.

This is something I can’t understand, if everyone in RL believes trinity are getting relegated this year (understandably)Then why would a player from any other club agree to a swap deal to join trinity, knowing they would have to find another club next season, makes more sense to me to sit tight where you are for now.

EXACTLY !! the only player that would agree to come our way is someone who has no contract for next season and is desperately trying to find a club. Logic suggests such players are not that good.

He knew he was not being offered another contract at Hull KR and that his appearances would be limited. The obvious solution is to move to us knowing our squad is so poor to virtually guarantee game time. He may feel he would stand out in our team increasing his chances of securing a SL contract.

I didn't mean the swap was on. I meant there were rumours of a swap after Hall but he's now in the team so made up.

I believe a swap deal was on with Ava Seumanufagai until Ben Nakubuwai got injured.

Why would Leigh swap a starting player in a team doing quite well in Super League, with an injured player from a team odds on to go down and release him anyway.

For me it's just more believable that he signed for next year.....but I don't think we've reached that window anyway.

Should have gone for Seumanufagai instead of Atoni as he was proven in Super League…

He's just signed one, for Leigh next season.

If he has then I am sure Leigh are in breach of the RFL regulations regarding when players become available to discuss contracts with another club. I believe this is the 01/05 but I could be wrong unless we give permission. It is always possible based on our current thinking that we may have done so.

It will have to be a very different trinity taking the field today than we’ve seen so far for an upset to happen - and that’s only for us to score another try let alone win!

In my opinion it's not a massive leap but it is a difficult one.
We don't need to suddenly be Wigan. We need to be 10% better in quite a few areas.
We need to play with confidence and not be disheartened when it doesn't work first time.
That goes for the fans too. Need to shout them home today, Leigh will be loud.

Going out of sheer habit these days as it's hard to pack it in after fifty odd years. However enjoyment has long gone and fed up of depressed weekends .
