I think MA will go with Langi in the centres PT and I`d rather have Lyne on the field as I think he is one of our strike players. I spoke to Mash about Langi and he said as assistant coach he was the player they identified as the biggest strike threat when playing Catalan, with that in mind and what I have seen of Langi in pre season I think he will start in the centres. Hall hasn`t done anything wrong, we just have to go with our best team. Taufua/Murphy I'm not sure about, I know people think there is no way we can leave Murphy out I just have a feeling MA will go Tafua and Lineham for R1.

Or Smith ?

I find your obsession strange, borderline stalker like, been that I'm not the only one on here that can or has talked to a player or a coach or someone involved in the club in any capacity, believe it or not it happens a lot. I`m not sure why I have to explain how my life, profession, whereabouts, what I had for tea last night fits into having a chat with a player or a coach after a game or in a local pub. Did my comment that Mash was very happy with signing Langi offend you in some way?

None of us know if any of us are actually connected. I find it best to assume people are not. No need to argue about it.

Such a shame Tanginoa isn’t ready.

I’m not sure why so many people are leaving Murphy out. He is a real weapon for us and has performed best out of all 4 wingers. It would be a shock if he were left out.

It’s nice having so many selection headaches but it’s a shame Bowden, Hood, Tanginoa have picked up injuries in pre season. I was happy with Bowden as starting prop too.

Do we know for certain he is still injured? He might yet play this Saturday against Cas in the reserves.

Someone posted Bowden was in a boot so doubt he’s ready. Tanginoa is still getting back to fitness and didn’t make the game Sunday. He may be ready for a game this weekend or vs Catalans and if he is I would have him straight in on the bench and bring him on for 30 minutes or so.

Aye was me. Saw a lot of the team before the game against hull, when you wait to get let into hospitality. Bowden had a moon boot on and Hood was walking, albeit limping. Not sure on Tanginoa

1 week to go, just 7 more sleeps.

Really looking forward to the new season and a win v Catalan would, of course be the perfect start.

At home we have to pull out all the stops to get that win. Start as you mean to go on.

I agree and I`m really hoping we can. When you look at the fixture list, the first 5 weeks are really tough, they all are really, there may be nothing in it but I always think it`s good to catch those tough teams early on, we have to play Wigan etc at some point and teams like that seem to build as they get to the latter end of the season for obvious reasons so hopefully we can catch them not firing on all cylinders.

Tell you what though, looking at it, we won`t get a better chance to beat Catalan, both of there starting halfbacks out, there starting fullback out all of which are very influential to there team and a few others out and on top of that they have gone through a bit of an overhaul on there team.
