Listening to Craig Huby on Radio Leeds, I initially thought he was being very negative towards us but as the game wore on I came to the conclusion that he was just being honest in his opinion that basically we are clueless in every aspect of our game !!

It was a poor performance !! Dire in attack but to say they weren’t trying or weren’t bothered is not true ! The effort is there esp in defence tonight .. the errors killed us . Don’t care how bad Jowitt was he should be in … Don’t want to see Gaskell or Minns again !

What i cant understand us why clubs want out players esp lino and miller

Load of absolute rubbish. Couldn’t hold the ball to save our life, could only score when they were down to 12, discipline at key time poor again. Lazy defence and shortcuts galore. Pretty sure Willie doesn’t send them out to play like that, the attitude of some of these players is stinking the place out. Any that want to go can for me, under contract or not. The coaches also need to get tough and drop the under performers. Plenty need a massive kick up the rear.

Thought Whitbread , Fifita ran it in well . Lineham did ok imo

a blind mole could see that Max Jowett in a plaster cast on both legs is a better option than Gaskell... (i had never heard of him when he signed ... I wish that were still the case)

The cliff edge we've fallen off stinks of a fall out of sorts, as does the apparent desire for players OOC to jump ship. Does anyone look happy? That seems a massive difference from the new coach bounce last season and the games up to Salford HT. Since then it's been a real slug, none of it enjoyable

Once again just too much tackling due to turn overs of many shapes. Then Minns drops that bomb and its over with 12 to go. Salford beat Leeds last week running at them with pace. Compare that to Lyne and Lineham trundling up like Oil Tankers.

Salford and in fact most other teams play an offloading game how many did we make today not counting knock ons.

Miller went ok for me Lino tried hard Think tonight it showed that M J is by far the best full back at the club Just the same old story wating for a mistake from Wakefield ..result Leeds try Mistakes cost us big time spent a lot of time tackling

We handed a poor leeds team the points on a silver platter tonight , with our inept almost comical performance. We had absolutely no pressure on the leeds line to call without yet another ball handling calamity putting paid to another foray . Our second faze is not existent almost to a point that they look like a team who’s been put out together an hr before kick off and no one has a clue what the other is doing . Gaskell was a huge mistake , lynne looks like he’d rather be anywhere but on the field , Linehan runs like he’s 3 week post op on a hip replacement, although to be fair he did run it in plenty of times ,kelepi could not keep hold of the ball .Penalties after penalties kept leeds firmly in the driving seat and the rare times we managed to get a look at their line we usually came up with an unforced error and that was the pattern all night ,leeds were there for the taking ,unfortunately we didn’t read the script, and Leeds capitalised ..
Good bits ( yes there are a few) Lino put himself about tonight , but with few willing runners and most not on the same page it was always going to be an uphill struggle . We put a decent shift in on the tackling front for large parts of the game ,but inevitably we gave penalties away gifting leeds field position for that horrible little Grub to slide in unopposed twice . Leaving max out tonight was a massive mistake by Poching IMO , he seems about the only player who can chime into the attacking line on a regular basis and so we desperately missed that part of our attack structure .Overall for me too many mistakes by too many players gifted leeds the game ,I’d hate to think what our completion rate was , it can’t have been above 50% .

When taking the usual 1st drives up the middle Lineham got the ball away in the tackle to supporting players three times if I recall correctly.

You all deserve a medal who attended tonight. There was nothing to suggest anything but what happened with the exception of the rain which I bet made things even more pleasurable.
I look forward to what WP makes of this performance.

Yeah the two errors fielding kicks that led to Leeds 6-14 then 6-20 would have been bread and butter to MJ.

Having been to last weeks game and then to headingley tonight I’m not in a rush to go to another away game. Normally only miss games if we are away on holiday but I’m struggling to find a reason to spend money when it seems like a lost cause.

I couldn't understand MJ not playing - I assumed it was because he was injured - seems he was dropped. Sorry don't get that and it obviously backfired.
Lyne and Tanginoa have not performed well for ages so why play them?
I said on an earlier post that it was time for the senior players WP has kept faith with to the repay that faith. They haven't and some heads should roll.
Get some younger players in who WANT to play for the cause .
Our defence at times is shocking and our attack absolutely clueless.
We need to go back to the drawing board and fast because we're in freefall to the championship - and we'd struggle there!

We were awful last night

Leeds we’re equally as bad but we’re able to complete there sets and put our full back under pressure more often than not

Other than Dave who tried his heart out as ever to both create and get the team moving forward and Gaskills kicking Which kept us in the game in the first half I’m really struggling to pick any positives

Also worrying there is no talk of transfers to us

If we do survive the drop I don’t see how it will be any better next year

I can’t recall a darker time to be a trin fan in terms of on the pitch

If we can’t fix the teams performances all the hard work MC has done off the pitch is going to unravel
