Agreed, but I'd have that as a given.

I remember when I first started watching in the late 80's the North and west terrace were serviced by a bus shelter urinal behind the North stand and one sit down bog in the old boiler room thing, diabolical even then.

Let's hope the plans sail through and the contractors are in earlyish next year

I've been going to Belle Vue for about 45 years and I can only remember going to the toilet twice in all that time.
Once behind North stand which was basic and dark, and once in what is now Rollin Shack and that was pretty grim hygiene wise.
So I hope they are improved but I don't think I'll be in the queue to test them out.

There was a rumour doing the rounds a few months back about hospitality boxes being added in the new stand. Has anyone heard more from that? Though it would have been brought up in the interview if it was the case. I think adding boxes in the new stand would be a great move

A that time, I understood that the hospitality suite was to be extended the full length of the stand, not individual boxes. I’ve looked on the trinity planning portal a few times to see if updated plans have been submitted, but nothing yet, perhaps PP isn’t required for internal changes. :

Where hospitality will be is still a question as they are keeping the flats and refurbishing so the hospitality in the East Stand might be for specific things.

All sounds very positive for income streams.

The one at Warrington is the full length of the stand so can be fully occupied or split into sections....
Seems to work well.
Maybe that's what ours will be like.
