Embarrassing is an understatement. Unprofessional is more accurate. I can't help but think the financial state of RL in this country is a joke.
Clubs are allowed to get themselves in a mess, often robbing Peter to pay Paul, meandering along, often for years getting deeper and deeper into financial trouble, as we did, before disaster strikes and administration follows.
As Vastman said earlier, that's Rugby league and it is but it is also how RL has been allowed to go about its business because clubs can fly off at a tangent and do as they wish-commit financial suicide if they wish. Until clubs get together collectively and thrash out how they can return to clubs not being allowed to spend more money than they can generate then nothing will change.

However for those that live in the real world we all know what ever measures are put into place some clubs will break the rules in order to get the upper hand. Therefore the lesser clubs will always push themselves upto and beyond their finacial means in order to keep pace.

Sadly, I agree. It won't change, because those without the financial clout will always try to emulate those clubs with the money and so it goes on!

Thats very unfair - given the progress of the last 2 years. Sure we could do without these, but I think we're a long way from where we were!

We have made massive strides over the last two years, so we have CCJ's, so what..! the club may be contesting it, why pay full amount when you could pay less or nothing..

Your "so what"attitude shows a clear lack of understanding of the implications/problems this adverse information causes any business,let alone a new start company trading for less than two years.

I'm not entirely convinced that these CCJ's paint a picture of a business in chaos; if this online system has been set up to make it easier for claimants to file, it follows that spurious claims, like the pie man, are more likely to be filed. As a victim of vexatious personal injury claims on an almost weekly basis, I have some sympathy.

That said, it is embarassing for these small amounts to be piling up and it does sus no favours at all.

Is there any way of finding out who the ccjs have been raised by?

The system is no easier online than the paper system, the same forms have to be filled out, the only diffirence is you click send as opposed to post in a post box. It has speeded the system up a little, but the forms issued by the court are exactly the same, you are no more open to spurious claims than you ever were.

I wish I knew, all we have is that Mr Fozzard has been stirring a massive amount on twitter, not very professional but then again what at Cas is?

Thats not what he said is it, "these small amounts to be piling up" and i'm pretty sure he could if he wished add these "small amounts" up to give a larger total figure.

If you are defining the seperate amounts however "small", one is for over 10 grand.

I agree not very professional but I suppose he resigned so he can say what he wishes as he won't have got a goodbye handshake.

Of course I forgot we are in trouble now with these massive CCj's, no one will touch us with a barge pole..!!, I know it does not luck good for the club, but it is not the end of the world, I have faith that the club will sort this out, and we will get more backing from businesses and more people on board, watch this space...
