There's nothing in any of the statements that says Kath Hetherington knew about the drug taking before the positive test was revealed and there's nothing to suggest that, once she knew, she was in any way part of the cover up.


What the Hull FC statement seems to suggest is that they weren't made aware of the impendinding investigation and for that reason they are disappointed in the former Chairpersons actions.

I can see an rfl fine being imposed,but Adam Pearson wont take it lightly.The threat of legal action against Kath Hetherington is a huge possibility also.

sorry mate you got that wrong. can't agree with you there. gleeson has been up to his eyes in crap for years. first thing smithy did at warrington was to get rid of his brother and then him. warrington underperformed for years because of crap like this and other things. it took smithy to sort it out. anyone that knows him will tell you that he has a no prisoners approach. i said months ago when there was talk of gleeson coming to wakey that crap would follow. i don't care what anybody says, i can tell you for sure most people at fc knew exactly what was happening. i don't believe in bleeding hearts. these people if let get away with it will ruin the game. most decent professional rl players that i associate with hate druggies and the lot believe testing should be done monthly on all top flight players and any found guilty should be bounced out of the game permanent to make room for the decent boys that want to come through.

That gets my vote, clean up the game before its too late.

Where did I indicate what you said, I merely commented on your post. Hull FC was run as a very tight ship (news wise) amongst the heirachy hence the reason for my comment.

Ask agar why he brought long straight back into the hull team after a long injury lay off,when he didn't want to? Kath didn't want a player on a huge salary sat in the stands,at all costs! Kath ran the show at hull,and rule(also her son in law) was merely a puppet for her.He took the flack for her every time.She refsed to sell to Adam Pearson as far back as 2002 bu she was quick to flee,when the sh** was about to hit the fan.

Seriously, you need to move on; perhaps your New Year Resolution could be to avoid thinking about or mentioning Richard Agar ever again, other than to congratulate him when he takes WTW into the 8 next year?

Think you lot should remember all this when you are shouting for his sacking later in the season.Agar was another yes man for kath,nothing more!! Hull fans have been wanting rid of agar since end of 2009 season,due to the dire,boring tactics he uses,and the weak excuses for defeats.I backed him to the hilt during his time with us,but things never changed,and the board were more interested in profit rather than any sort of success.We hull fans are more than ecstatic with our new owner and head coach,and a huge difference on the field is a certainty.

If there is one team I want to finish above this year it's Hull, just to shut these Agar hating Hull fans up! If they fail to finish above last seasons position who will they point the finger at then?

I fail to see how Hull fans can argue in 2 directions.Either Kath Hetherington ordered Richard Agar to play particular players as mentioned on the previous page OR he is a yes man ? Make up your mind.( Not dissimilar to the allegations of goings-on at Barrow over recent seasons )

I may have missed this since the news was made public BUT,was the chief exec.Rule or the conditioner ever suspended by Hull ? Or,despite the 'state of mind' campaign - was a player left to hang out to dry on his own when clearly the deliberate cover up is the more serious matter ?
If so it is pretty poor from the previous regime and then for the Hull fans to worship Pearson it reflects badly on him that he bought/took over a club and failed to take measures to safeguard a player - surely part of the transaction as he certainly didn't purchase the stadium as part of the deal.

When did Pearson obtain the facts and why,if he knew the facts,allow Rule to resign without any action being taken against him - he was an employee for however long the length of time between the Pearson takeover and the resignation.

Agree, what is it then, either Kath ran the show and Agar was just a yes man, or Agar ran the show and the mistakes made were on his own terms because if it's the first I fail to see where all the Agar bashing comes from. If Kath wasn't allowing Agar full control of the team like the Hull fans keep saying , the amount of hate this guy gets is totally unjustified imo.
I also agree with Deehell, a part from Cas if there's one team I want to smash this year it is now Hull, never was particularly bothered about them before but now, it's different.

In november we had a fans forum,which was attended by Gentle,McCrae and Pearson.Us fans were more than shocked to hear Pearson publicly state that along with Kath,Agar was instrumental in leeds signing Luke Briscoe from ourselves.Not very professional of a head coach to push one of his young players in the direction of one of our main rivals is it? I'm quite certain that if this was you're club you would be up in arms wanting to know why,and also i don't think Glover would be happy either! These revelations from our new owner came out after he had signed a contract at wakefield.I wonder how Glover felt after finding out? He obviously wouldn't say things publicly,but i reckon after that and now the drugs fiasco,he must have twitchy feet? Well Pearson would say that wouldn't he? He's hardly going to point the finger at anyone thats still at the club. From what I hear Agar was a victim off events at Hull. No doubt like all blinkered fans you’ll just believe what you want to believe.

He said he had the phone records/recordings to prove it.We hull fans are happy to have a genuine owner in Pearson after these years of kath and her son-in-law,and his honesty in berating kath and her dishonesty.look back on our board and see the amount of ''agar out'' threads and you will realise we have wanted rid of you're new head coach since 2009!! Maybe Agar was giving a young kid good advice, to get out of a badly-run club? He was probably planning the same exit himself.

I'd have thought it was a bit soon to say what kind of owner you have yet. If this guy doesn't achieve success that the fans demand, along with the newly appointed coach, the fans will quickly turn.
Seems to have got the Hull fans on side fairly easily by slagging off the last regime and owner.
