He may not know a lot about rl and coaching etc, but a SL coach has to fit in with the ethos of the busines and its business strategy. This is where I presume AG would be involved in the process and therefore be involved in the 'interview'/choice process.

Yes of course thats correct, just pointing out that the bottom line with regards to coaching may not be his call and thats a slight worry because it must be JE who's making that call, i'd just be interested to know who they are taking advice from.

Thing is how do you become qualified to make such a decision or for your input to be worthy and listened to? I mean who made the decision to appoint McDermott at Leeds because almost nobody in RL thought that was a good move. Who at Hull thinks it's right to stick with Agar? While you can make an informed choice you need more than a little slice of luck as well as it's always going to be a bit of gamble no matter who you appoint.

Luck and a gamble, thats very true but you know we don't have much in the way of good luck at Wakey, ok the last few months we've had some very good luck but it never lasts.

I don't mind calculated risks even with some good luck thrown in but my worry is jobs for the boys and not whats best for the club.
