good to get the season off to a winner i guess, how did your guys do with the mod rules?

it was a cracking game with both sides playing some good rugby and defending superb,both teams coped well with the rules although we conceded a try from dropping a ball from a high kick but overall i was delighted with how we played,i doubt many teams will go to stanningley and win and we were having our first hit in two months and some kids needed the blow out but we will strip fitter for the experiance.

another good win for stanley you will after be carefull you will be playing the big boys after christmas if you keep it going.

yep you could be right there i think it something like 130 for and 8 against in 3 games but every game is different and i just hope complacency does not set in but its good to see that the under 9s are very gracious winners.

Most players get injured falling of walls or out of trees or other ways other than playing RL.

by all accounts they are struggling a bit having won only one of their first three games losing against crigglestone and drighlington,paul the coach at heworth was pretty downbeat when i spoke to him but its a very tough league where six teams can all beat one another so you cannot take anything for granted.

yeah and tbf crigg n drigg were very good last year as well , got a feeling they wont put up with Stanley for too long if they keep it up but as you say were only 3 games in.

cas panthers u10s played hunslet warriors tonight due to the super league grand final on saturday going down 4-16 which by all accounts the panthers played far better than they did at the weekend.
