The commentary team said more or less that HKR were given the rub of the green and we were getting pinged for everything , not making excuses but they said a few calls on forward passes shouldn’t have been pulled in the first half . Obviously the ref didn’t knock on and throw wayward passes or run poor lines ,that lays squarely at the players and coaching staff

I am not the one who defends them on every occasion and why is it trolling because I do not offer an opinion. If you want one we appear to be back to the Chester period where we cannot score or defend unfortunately. I have said I thought our forwards were too light not helped by our recruitment this season. What do you think or do you need sometime to gather your thoughts.

People really need to watch the full game on Trin TV to see the full picture. It was frustrating as feck but not many left before the end.

BBC Radio Humberside RL commentary team said Trinity appeared to have a small pack with the exception of Arona and Tanginoa and that the Trinity bench also looked ‘light’.

We didn’t do the basics (yet again), forward passes penalties aside we didn’t control the ball , our forwards very rarely made any sort of platform for the backs to play off, our half backs were pretty much clueless - yes Lino made a couple of decent darts but literally he couldn’t tackle me, Johnson I don’t think got a pass game was effectively over after about ten minutes (again)

We have too many similar hard working relatively small forwards that are totally interchangeable - aydin v whitbread v arona v battye in front row? Makes no difference - same in back row - pick of bunch today was undoubtedly crowther who had a decent game.

We are a small pack even with the inclusion of Tanginoa and Arona.
We have a threequarter line, which IMO is good enough to challenge any in SL.
Our halfbacks can shine when they want.
Our pack is simply not good enough and the writing was on the wall with the pre season Featherstone defeat.
Sorry but Tanginoa and Arona are makeshift props who do their best. We need a rethink next season and god help us this season!

Well I don't know why we are not performing, I just know we aren't. It's across the team for me. It's not an individual thing. We are just slow passing and reacting.

As for trolling. Thats what your original post was. Not your opinion.

My biggest concern is we are stuck with the squad we have and i doubt very much we have the resource to recruit.

I wouldn't like to guess at "how much" of our cap is taken up by players that we can't get on the pitch on a regular basis.

Main issue for me as well. Got to be one of the tiniest squads and packs i've seen us assemble. Other teams just physically domiante us in all aspects... line speed... collision... wrestle. You name it we are awful. That's why the only options we have is are offload game and forcing passes.

A rethink for next season.

If the run continues, next season could be too late.

I'd be having a re think now, especially if one or two become available part way through the season.

Personally, I think we over recruited in the backs in the close season, Hall, Lineham, Minns, JD, especially with the numbers we already have

Whatever is happening we just have to get through this season.......we need to stick by Willie P and the team as much as poss! Majority of teams have or are going through these horrendous slumps ..... We've seen what we can play like , there won't be much change I fear so lets help to get the club over the line and look forward to the new development of Belle Vue and what the team looks like next season.

I agree, we have no size. Crowther did alright despite people singing 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' as he left the field with a head knock. Not enough size in the pack and no solid leg drives. We're too easy to run at. Looks like a game of bulldog at school- big lads run at the line and everyone crumbles.

Just finished my tea after returning from the match. HKR played the better rugby I agree, they certainly got the bounce of the ball on every occasion, and it’s been mentioned on here by others listening to the radio, that Trinity were unfortunate regarding being pulled up for forward passes on at least 3 try scoring occasions when certainly the pass looked good. I’m not sure who the referee was, he was named as A. Moore, I’m only aware of Liam Moore, (edited) I know every club are sent an email/form the Monday following the matches, and asked to score the officials performance, I hope our club give an honest score, and if possible make an official complaint of said performance. I was one of the many trinity fans who stayed until the final whistle, and gave encouragement to the players, Yes they made mistakes, and need to improve in every department, but the utter despair they must have felt when the ref awarded some of those KR trys, and giving some of the decisions against trinity was plain to see. I was gutted after the Cas defeat, and when I saw the players boarding the bus at BV, without big dave, I thought it would be another difficult afternoon, but I’ll be there again on Thursday, support the club if we don’t, then we will surely loose it.

They were very drunk, missed half the game, and had the audacity to say the players are not fit to wear the shirt.

Actually Liam Moores brother, you must have been watching a different game to me - referee wasn’t great and thought that the hall try was forward and that when miller made that break it was a clear yellow card not a 6 again, at least one of our tries was clearly forward but it wasn’t referee that gifted Kr 4 sets of six when we we didn’t get the ball after a restart or the repeated dropped balls and missed tackles.

I’ll be honest that was a better performance and score line than I was expecting.

We need a big front rower and we need him quick!
Possibly 2 front rowers but I can’t see us getting 1 so 2 is a pipe dream

The club needs to get some transfer wheeling and dealing done, find some money then show ambition by getting a reputable front row forward who isn’t too much of a gamble.

We’ve got some really good players but like an arch without a keystone we’re structurally weak and 1 or 2 dominant front rowers are our keystone. Get them in place and the rest of the team will improve around them especially the half backs

Arona is a 13 not an 8 or 10
Battye is Championship standard

I was surprised how many stayed to applaud the guys but I think that late track back by either Jowitt or Murphy to prevent what looked like another certain try needed appreciation. The whole team came to thank the fans and looked absolutely gutted and shattered.
I saw Daz from the shop having it out with that small group of drunken yobs on the way out. What a set of immature brain dead morons they are.
