How is Reece getting on? Looked at his stats and seen a few highlights and he looks like he doing OK, I commented on the first page that I doubt he would make a SL player when you signed, but would loved to be proved wrong, is he proving me wrong?

Good I am really pleased for him, I have known him since he was 11 and is a good kid, maybe needed a change of clubs realise his potential.

It was agar who messed him about at hull, playing him one week and if he had a bad game, he would be dropped straight away even though others played as bad, but woudnt be dropped, he never gave Reece a decent run in the first team, so at least he has given him a few games, although I see he didn't play lat week, injured?

Still think youth development is Agar major weakness, looking at your squad last week, there is only one player in your team to come through your youth system.

My opinion about Reece's time at Hull didn't workout as Agar seemed to be under to much pressure from the board and that theywere not giving him a chance. Even some Hull fans in the past have suggested the a certain lady and male were sticking their nose in too much and even interfering with selection. My guess is that Reece probably became a victim of circumstances and we hopefully are benefiting from this.

Injured last week, personally I'm a fan after what I've seen so far.
In comparison to a young Luke George making his debut for us I'd say he looks a better around player and certainly a safer pair of hands.
George was also treat in a similar way by JK following a mare in a game against Hudds I think, dropped quite unfairly I thought, but he came back well, some coaches like to protect these youngsters - maybe Agar was doing this with Reece.
He certainly seems to value him after all.

From what i've seen of Lyne i've been very impressed. When he first signed i automatically saw him as back up for our threequarters but he's unfortunate that he picked up an injury as Smith would have struggled to displace him.

Agar will have selection headaches when all our centre's are fit because all three look exciting with ball in hand for different reasons.

I didn't count Kyle Wood as he did he has played most of his rugby and development at other clubs.

Also last year Trout, Walshaw, Cowling, Kay made their SL debuts under Agar

Getting out of Hull must have been the best thing that ever happened to RA; it rejuvenated him professionally and resulted in the opportunity to coach a national side.

Of France, previous held by the excellent coach of Bobby Goulding, did any other coach want it?

The fact that Steve McNamara coaches England says it all about the international game and the standards of he coaches.

I think it's widely accepted that the role is something of an honorary thing, but another young, English coach active on the international scene can only be a good thing; unless you're from Hull of course, in which case, Agar out.
