Yes the clubs struggling and needs fans to rally round in any way they can, or someone to take over the club lock stock and all that, otherwise we are on a downward spiral and who knows what will happen.

That the club is struggling is far too obvious. The big disappointment is that it seems to happen every year and that we lurch from one near fatal incident to the next.
With Trinity there is no "onwards & upwards" only bouncing along the bottom seemingly feeding off the scraps. I say seemingly because rumour far outways news from the club.
It is unforunate that none of us are in a position to help.
I have checked my Euromillions ticket and there will be nothing from me for at least 1 more week.

staff were told they would be paid a few days late and any late charges incurred would be paid for by the club that comes from a member of staff at the club.

So have they been paid or not? Do they deserve paying? Seems to me that if we do go down the pan the thing most people will miss is coming on here to moan about how crap everything is. Not necessarily, but there seem to be few offering any kind of solution to what we're going through - and no, none of us are happy with the situation - it's crap - the only difference seems to be that some have a greater awareness / understanding of the issues and give a little more respect to those that are trying to deal with them.

I sincerely hope that at the end of all this we can come out as a stronger club, with a broader management base and with that all important OPP in place - then, and only then imo, we have genuine opportunity to secure the future we all crave!

Slightly OT but as you talk about a succesfull future, what's going on with regard to talkover/new investor? Seems to have gone a bit quiet lately. No ones putting rumours on or heard if there's anyone still talking to the club

I've been told that Teds secret business partner is non other than Thaksin Shinawatra and as a result Teds assets have been frozen by the Gov't at the Request of the Thai authorities. Man City's new owners have contacted the club about payment of money promised by Shinawatra during his time as their owner. They demanded that Wakefield pay up but instead they're going to play their reserve games at the new stadium for free. That all sounds OK but they want to play their U18s on a Friday and their reserves on Sunday which means Trinity's games have been switched to Tues mornings.

All players payments have been processed. If they ain't got the money, then it will be with them on Monday. No control over banking processes regrettably!
