I wasn't at the game but apparently it was a very under par performance ending with a 28 - 8 loss, their first for over 2 years. All winning runs come to an end but don't let that stop you from celebrating.

Only thing I'm celebrating old lad is that I finally got an answer', I've been around the game long enough to know you don't win em all, but the thing that annoys me the folk giving us interested in the youth players the information think we only want the good news to get a true assessment of how the teams are doing we need to hear about the losses but then again they might not want us to know about them, unlike some I don't believe every thing I'm told

Correct me if Im wrong but the game wasn't advertised on here before it was played either, maybe the people you're criticising, who are volunteers by the way, haven't had the chance to come on here and keep you informed.

No one from the club came on here after the Hull win and informed you of the result or how good the lads played so why are you suggesting their being selective just because they lost at Widnes and didn't come on here to inform you.

You'd lose your money, I've no connection other than I'm a fan of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, be that 1st Team U19s, U16s, Dolls, Kittens or Tiddlywinks. I watch as many games as I can and I take pride in the good things I see.

What really irks me is some anonymous old fool taking petty pot shots at the club and it's staff at any opportunity and even trying to stir up trouble where none exists, that's what motivates me to respond in kind with such vitriol.

For the posters on here that are actually aware of who try scorer is id say they'd probably disagree with you on that point.

I sometimes wonder if this is the reason that junior rugby struggles to get the quality coming through with all the bickering that goes with it,
while you have your own ideals of what a good player is as do I you will always find its never the same as another coach, from this years batch of u16s there will be only around 3-4 that will make heads turn the rest are just making the side up, no different to any other yr.

I have tried promoting junior on here for over 7 yrs with the intentions that if a young lad wanted to read this they could find a local club get involved in the game, I fair bet reading this it would put them off.
