| It's a tough call but I don't think Lyne has the creativity or ball handling skills of a centre whereas Collis and Sykes do. The game was won with our pivots and Tautai off the back of a strong forward display last week. Look at the try Collis created for Fox the other week though pure class!
For me it is a choice between going for Lyne or Riley on the wing with either of them plus Siejka to miss out in the squad of 17.
Based purely on wakefield playing experience this season I'd go for Lyne on the wing due to the form he seems to have hit against Catalan and his consistently high yardage he makes every game. Riley has gone on loan for a lack of form albeit played well last week.

| Stick with Tautai at prop, Trin can't afford to start slow and be chasing the game.
Tautai gave us good go forward early doors with Scruton last week.

| Lyne doesn't run enough and powerfully enough from dummy halve. Since Cockayne has left we have missed his workload to get us a quick play the ball and on the front foot. Riley gives you that in my opinion

Our top meter maker yet doesn't run enough (backs, Tautai only one above him) and powerful enough from dummy half....

| Sykes out for me. Way, way too slow. The young speed merchants of London will cut through like a hot knife through butter.

| Sykes will be the one to miss out as for Siejka I would not break the Godinet-Sammut partnership as it looked good and the box of tricks both of them had was too much for Catalans. It looks very good after so short a time together and I think would be outstanding once they have a fair few games to blend and Siejka would have to be outstanding to break it up and would have to wait his time imho.

I dont quite get that point ?
Lynne has had the most runs from DH this season out of every player apart from Mcshane obviously, He also has the most tackle busts, largest average gain, so yes thats stats for you !
He just needs to cut the silly errors.

| For me Molloy did enough last Sunday to retain his place on the bench, I would play Danny Germund at 13 with Ali and Ryan in the second row ( by choice I would have Walshaw or Trout but they are not in squad ), I would start with TT and Scruton. So my bench would be Wildie, Anderson, Smith and Molloy.
Am I correct in saying that when Washbrook went off Germund went to 13. We have a big strong pack that need to smash it up the middle and really get on top. Play it very safe and only hand that ball over on their line. Tough one re Sykes , Lyne or Riley. I would play Riley and Fox on wings, Collis and Sykes in centres. So Lyne ( very unlucky ) Seika to miss out.

| Although I expect him to improve, I haven't been overly impressed with Ryan so far.
I'd rather he was on the bench and we started with Molloy

so lynne averages 4 dh per game and riley 6 - so if riley keeps it going he will make 50% more carries than lynne over the season an awful lot of carries.
guess that is stats for you - its a tough call - signed player against a loanee - glad I don't have to make the choice cos whatever agar does it ll be wrong for some

Now that's very true. Whatever he does, even if we went on to win 7 on the bounce again there'd be some folk saying he was doing it wrong.

| No way will he not play Collis, centres of quality are hard to find and when you have one he needs to play. I watched Ryan play for Paramatta on premier last season always in the second row but due to our requirements he has filled in at centre. I believe when he plays in his true position, one he is use to playing you will see much improved performances.
I will say I was surprised that we could sign a player like Ryan because he looked very impressive in a poor Paramatta team.
