I always think he is holding back a bit when talking about his time at Widnes though it seems very clear he wasn't happy with certain playing staff. Always good to hear him talk though, he seems a very flawed character like Cooke, totally driven by heart.

JD is not in th best of form at the moment but I've no doubt he'll come good. He's never let the club down yet and I doubt he ever will.

Everybody sems to have forgotten that JD had knee surgery during the off season and as such did not have the full pre-season build up that is crucial. This is probably the main reason for not being up to speed at present. Be patient, he will be there when it matters.

JD comes over very honourable and sincere, he will spill his last last bit of blood for this club and even though his season hasn't started as good as he and we would want I have no doubt that his intention is to finish on a high,
if we can't back a servant that came to our club and could of walked any time into other side then we don't deserve as good a replacement when he retires
