Agree the link from the halves seemed a little hit and miss throughout the game. I couldnt actually tell what the tactics were if honest.

gutted...but have to admit best side one. first time we have lost the pack battle in a while and we switched off totally for ten minutes when they scored 3 tries and ultimatly killed it stone dead.

still, proud of our achievements this year, just very sad its all over.

Second best throughout tonight, credit they did a good job on us.

the most stupid deplorable negative tactic was taking 2pts at 0-0 on our third set of six it sent a message to the catalans team we couldnt break them down.

we where shocking for fist 50 mins then we came alive when it was too late.think luke will have got himself a new contract( well played luke).think kear as to take some blame tactics all wrong and can anybody tell me why obst left the field in first half and mr huddersfield drew stayed on.

all in all dont want slag them off cos it as been a great season just a very sad ending

i dont know how he could change them, we just got beat up in the forwards, hammered and we didnt have brough to kick us out, simple as that no go forward in the middle

your right kear as done a bril job but he took of obst and left drew on when there was only one of those players intrested and it wasnt drew

funny, i hated us being made favourites, and of cause as soon as we had turned in to underdogs at half time we were better. basically we have a team of fighters, not cold hard killers of games.

but no critisism from me for any member of squad or coaching staff.

dont play them at there own game go out wide like we did in last twenty when we looked better

A lot of nervous rugby and plenty of mistakes from both teams tonight up to that point, so Kear may have thought that by posting some points, we might settle a little and take some better options when we got the chance. Didn't work out for us, unfortunately, but I can see the logic of it in that particular match situation.

which is exactly what happened in catalan 2 weeks ago, korkis run aside we got battered up front that night too and relied on brough kicking us out of it, and george having pace.
i think some read too much in to two weeks ago, i thought we were very lucky.

I really rate JK. I have to agree with the first poster though, taking the 2 is only a good option in the dying minutes.

You missed Brough tonight. Better team won on the night. But a very good season by your lads and its a credit to Kear finishing so high in the playoffs

Gutted about the loss but, after going through what our clubs been through the past 12 months, and finishing 5th, highest ever in super league, then well done to John Kear, the lads and all the club!


Looking forward to next season tbh.

But it's been a great year

& a sad one also

. But all the best to the players leaving and a great big welcome to the new players coming in.

Fantastic season though - 5th position , excellent - the future is bright!
