Ref needs to grip this Widnes constantly slowing the ruck and we need to get our heads back in gear we should have been 3 tries up and out of sight now. Bain 10 minutes for dissent after he thought he had scored didn't help!

According to Radio he DID score so was rightly miffed !!!

Think we thought the game was won at 20-6 tbh as we brought Gale off. Dreadful first half, bombed so many opportunities, we won that game by playing half decent for a 10 minute spell.

If we can play that bad, with a Wembley hangover and still beat 2nd in the league, I can't see how people don't think we have a good chance of going unbeaten.. I'm hoping we don't play that bad again this season!

The sort of game some fans have been crying out for, will do us good for the play offs.

Absolutely the type of game I’ve been waiting for ,although we could have won comfortably with bombed tries here and there ,it set up a thrilling finish. Free car park round the corner , great stadium ,vociferous fans ,great day out I’d say Willzay

Spot on there Ketty. Good to feel some jeopardy in a game but finally pull through. Home advantage will be crucial in the end of season playoffs for that 0.25 points.

It's better on a Sunday afternoon with the sun shining than those dark winter nights of yesteryear !

It's a lot nicer than Naughton Park that's for sure and nowadays you have a much better chance of a win than back in the 80s and early 90s when it was bit of graveyard for away teams.

One of the greatest club sides I've seen were Widnes back then.
