hell... i have seen much better teams than the one we have out tonight, get a real shallockings at saints....

We have a better side than one that loses badly to a greatly under-strength Saints side and will ship 50-60 to Cas, sort it out coaches. Fitness and belief.

Sloppy, slack mistake when we had the ball, with yet another pass going to ground and Sts being 1st to react.

I posted last week that it's OK praising young men for having a go and putting 100% effort in but eventually the cumulative effects of week to week mental and physical assaults take their toll.

There is no substitute for the durability that age and experience brings and if we are not careful we will damage the good work done with this crop of young players.

We look tired tonight and I don't want to imagine what three games in 8 days will do to our already fatigued players.

We need some recruits!

Spot on and it's clear, the win last week as had a knock on effect to this, which when your dealing with a young team, is what your going to get.

In reality we all knew we were never going to beat Saints. What is disappointing is the basic errors we have come up with which have led directly to a number of their scores.

Penny is not good enough for SL its that simple. All the pace in the world is no good if we don't get him in the clear in attack or if your hopelessly out of position in defence.

BJ was quiet again tonight. I know we didnt have a great deal of possession, but we need him taking the ball to the line and creating some doubt in the opposition defence. It was too easy for Saints tonight, no dummy runners - kicking game largely negative and poor.

At least next week with a derby game and Moro back, we are likely to see a better performance.

Just a shame we had to play like that with Eddie and co watching.

Having just got back from Headingley Alec Ferguson could have tallied 22 points against us tonight........we were gash!!!

Yes, why couldn't it have been last weeks game on Sky.
Watching that tonight, it's clear, we were missing Morro in defense and the organizational side he brings and the fact he leads by example. I just thought we were a little flat and lacked intensity, which led to the silly mistakes, mistakes which we haven't seen in previous weeks.
