There will be a public meeting, in Cats, on Tuesday 21st or Wednesday 22nd. We will tell you exactly where the position is with regard to the Stadium at that meeting. Further details will follow when the date is fixed, but most of it will be announced on the night!

Not sure why there would need to be a meeting to tell us it was going ahead? A press release would do that just as well. More likely a call to arms to try and rally the troops pre-election with the aim of putting pressure on people of influence.

As a matter of interest, and i've asked this before and never got a reply, was Belle Vue successful with it's application for becoming an asset of community value? The one you had us all sign an online petition for and never mentioned again?

As part on going negotiations, the Stadium Trust board asked the Supporters Trust to postpone the application and they kindly obliged us in that request. However, the Supporters Trust have now recommenced the ACV application and I understand that a meeting to decide on this is now very imminent. I think Sandal Cat might be able to confirm the exact date?

We will be explain more, in the round and in full context, at the public meeting.

As IA has said we were asked to defer our application to have Belle Vue listed as an ACV by the Stadium Trust and we agreed to that request.

We have now requested that the Council now considers the application and I'm waiting for the date that the panel will meet to consider it but I was told it would be as soon as possible after Easter.

You are mistaken - I've been to all but one of these meetings; at the last one, I had to stand outside and read what was being said on Twitter, because the PA wasn't working; and I was at the Town Hall for the inquiry, having arranged for a well respected SLE to speak in favour of the community stadium...

I'm confused though - it's 2015 - there are many and varied ways to update people as to what's going on; can't we just be told via social media, press release and a website statement?!

Someone should propose at the meeting to set up some kind of fund or share scheme to buy the Oasis and Superbowl land.

But what about those that can't attend the meeting?

We'd need to buy Belle Vue as well, the total cost would be way out of any scheme of that type. We can't even get people to come to BV let alone buy the place!
