under what valuation principle was the contract worth 400k?

at the end of the day the value is what the highest bidder is willing to pay to release a player for that contract and I can't imagine any superleague player's contract is worth 400k in the current climate.

I presume he meant that Chase had another two years on his contract at Cas, getting around £200k per year, however as you say that is irrelevant.

180k + 1K a game. So the value of his 2 years was 400k. I used it as an example of why contracts mean jack all when it comes to fees.

Can someone confirm :- we have sold amor for £50,000 maybe Ben C FOR £30,000 but also have we not sold 1000 season tickets possibly £100,000 so is that £150/180,000 off the £400,000 figure?.

Cant imagine the sold season tickets are included in the 400k at all

We haven't sold 1,000 ST's since that figure was announced, but there have some in-roads into it.
