I dont want to be seen to be poring cold water on the whole season ticket offer because I do think its a really good idea but this latest publicity idea just seems totally miss timed to me. What is the point of being in Asda next wednesday between 10 am and 4 pm, the only people at Asda between those times will be either OAPs, single mothers or people who are out of work and I dont think any of those are your target audience, why are they not there today and tomorow, then they may get some interest.

As I said - it's a good start but there is more to do, which I'm sure will happen.

Personally, I think the deadline will be extended - it would be an administrative and PR nightmare to start asking people for the extra money.

Surely everyone who buys an adult ticket will be better off buying a junior one as well to make up the numbers?! Costs £20 more now but saves £55 in the long run. Could donate it to a friend/neighbour. Gets the next generation of trin fans interested and saves money. no brainer for me. I bought one for the 4yr old and he doesn't even need one yet.

It's easy to say that if you have £20 spare, but not everyone has that extra cash. I know it doesn't sound much, but it is to some.

It's also a lot easier for people to stump up £20 for something extra rather than £75 for nothing. £120 for a season ticket is still a fantastic price.

It does appear to be common knowledge that Gentle, Morgan and Noble turned you down; I don't know if that's common knowledge based purely on something that was started on here though, or if it's the truth.

An extension of the deadline would certainly make sense. It would give the club time to sort the advertising boards for a start!
The club's fear of announcing Agar as the coach (not to mention the actual appointment!) really stalled the momentum of the offer. An extra month plus some good news on the transfer front might just kick-start the process again.

Indeed, together with some decent marketing; can't really blame the Wakefield public for not taking up the offer, if they didn't know about it in the first place.
