I do think the current coaching team have taken Wakefield has far as they can. Sacking only Kear wouldn't make any difference Broadbent would have to go as well. They have done well in bringing stability and competitiveness to Wakefield, however I do think change is needed for both parties. Looking back the Wakefield way of sacking coach/replacing with assistant cycle did nothing but harm for years. So for me a totally fresh coaching team with new ideas is needed. Personally i'd like to see Millward given a go.

Is it possible that with is just signing a Frenchman, playing a frenchteam next in the league, a lot of catalans pleuets out of contract at the end of the season, elima being one, that jk was just there on wakey business!?!?!?

Good for the board if kear goes. Would more than likely have been encouraged to go. Wakey need to change the coach but cant afford to sack him. This way they get compo and dont have to pay kear off.

And we replace him with who exactly, or will the board leave us with a similar level of replacement to when DB was released for a good bit of business and with compensation!!!

Loing our best forward (tronc) top try scorer (millard) scrum half (cheating) best half back (brough - best player in the league) may have something to do with our current plight.

Kear is the clubs biggest asset at present, and his leaving now would be, to me, a final indication that all is not at all well in the club, in more than just the personnel and perfomances on the pitch.

I've been changing my mind from one hour to the next about JK,looking at the positives I don't think many of the top Coaches around would have dealt with the problems at Trinity this season any better than JK,but that is just a guess.Then looking forward can JK get the team playing good RL again,without knowing whats going on inside the club it's a hard one to answer.Hopefully the club can make the best decisions for the club and the fans.

Oh i forgot we have lost our 3 most influential players brough i accept for his kicking game. But newton played one and half games and was poor. Tronc prob had 3 decent games b4 he gave in. There's more than enough quality at wakey to compete and we simply have not. The buck stops with kear and i think its time for a fresh approach.

Yes I have watched the last 12 games. The one dimensional toothless attacking play, the repeated defensive frailties out wide not addressed, schoolboy errors, ridiculous interchange selections, throwing away of match winning leads, players constantly played out of position. This is all down to one man, Kear. As a season ticket holder and therefore customer I believe I am entitled to an opinion not judgement on who coaches the club. Maybe I should just be one of the sheep who applauds off yet another incompetent, gutless performance.

So far this season, every time the opportunity has presented itself, we've offloaded an M&S quality player and replaced from Lidl; that suggests to me either serious financial problems at the club right now, or a wilful attempt to reduce outgoings in preparation for bad times ahead.

I think it probably IS time for Kear to go, but given the above, I expect a bargain basement replacement like Beans or Harrison, which will only compound our problems. Hard to feel optimistic about our club at present.

Thus reducing the burden on Wakefield council, ever thoughtful them two, ever thoughtful!!!!

Now then, how is this going to play out, if there's 3 candidates, does the runner up automatically get the wakey job, unless kear doesn't get the job then he's stuck here?? I'm a bit confused!!!

Ba Ba oh sorry I'll talk in language you understand then shall I, I'll let you into a secret, your not the only st holder on here its just that some of us have a little more understanding of the difficulties at the club than some others and are a little more patient and believe it or not we also have opinions to which we are also entitled to. I have no intention of answering all of your points because I dont have answers to them, perhaps he has no choice in playing players out of position I dont know, you clearly do from the criticism you give him and as for his team selections why dont you ask him to run them by you. One last thing I can tell you is that every day they practice knock ons religiously and havent they got that down to a fine art throwing the game away in the last minute or so, Kears done very well there the players are very low on confidence at the moment and it shows on the field and I dont suppose it helps with fans on their backs, you would probably call your post constructive criticism to me its just whinging hth.
