| I don't think it is predictable at all. Wakefield were well beaten but scored some good tries and kept the score close for quite a while.
After the Catalan game they needed some confidence and that has given them a little bit back. Not loads, but it's a start......against top of the league in form at their place.

| Sounds like they never gave up which is the minimum requirement and better than thursday. It is a worry though that we have conceded nearly 50 points again aganist a Leeds side who didn't sound to get out of second gear. Webster needs to sort the defence out quickly.

No worries, Kirke will bolster the defence .

| Effort was there but it's clear to see there are players playing injured and we're lacking size in the forwards.

| Leeds have scored 43, 38 and 26 against Hull, Catalan and Cas away from home and beat Wigan scoring 26.
I hardly think we can complain they scored so many against us when we have half a team and at the tough Easter weekend fixture.
Good effort, lets improve again next time too.

| And actually only Huddersfield have scored more than us against Leeds with 24.
We were well beaten but there was plenty to not be disappointed with.

| Just back and let nobody think that this was a massively improved performance it wasn't, Leeds won at a canter. They were in cruise control and if they had played well they would have put 70 on us easily. Speaks volumes that they could leave Mcguire on the bench for the majority of the game. There were signs of life in attack, mainly from Lauitiiti, also that Smith looked like he could be bothered today and we didn't put quite as much ball on the floor which helped but the defence is powder puff stuff. They broke us at will first half and then thankfully eased off in the second. Nothing but bottom spot for this lot unless we get someone on the coching staff who can coach defensive structure and techniques. And with this defence i wouldn't fancy playing either Leigh or Bradford and getting through that middle 8.

| I'd also add I don't think it is a lack of effort or commitment to the cause but a general lack of ability that is the problem. Bar a few notable exceptions many of the players are showing what they are which is bottom of the table standard. I guess you get what you pay for and that will result in a relegation battle come August. The injuries obviously don't help but they are not the only reason we are where we are.

| As a Leeds fan, I thought Wakey had a good go, plenty of effort and some good touches, yes Leeds hardly got out of second gear but it came down to the fact Leeds simply have better players, but play like that and a few more wins in next few weeks are achievable.

| If you're going to complain about improvement then you're never going to be happy - I was considering not going today after the Catalan game, but I went anyway
Leeds are easily the best team in the league so far this season, I don't care whether they were in full gear or not, you can only play what's in front of you
We played much better as a team today, the players looked more committed and interested, only individual defensive mistakes cost us, the occasional bad read or missed tackle, give that Leeds side a sniff and they'll convert!
Now I'm not saying we were good, far from best, but I'll take that level of improvement, at least we looked like scoring, hopefully the players can take heart from the improvement and continue to improve, just to show the support something remotely fun to watch

if leeds could have put 70 on us they would have done, don't kid yourself. thought the boys had a good dig against a full strength leeds side that never pull any punches. we are paying busted and they are giving it their best shot. we will get players back and we will get better

Leeds weren't quite full strength. Much stronger than us still obviously but Peacock, Leuluai, Jones-Buchanan & Briscoe would all be first choice and didn't play plus McGuire on the bench most of the game and Delaney injured in the first half. They also have a couple of younger players out as well who may have played so i have no doubt there was a few if their guys carrying knocks also. I think we did as well as we are probably capable of today, sadly that is still a big defeat this year.
Next week is the big one against a mis-firing, Agar influenced, Warrington side. Other teams around us have picked up 'shock' wins today. We desperately need one of our own.

| To say Leeds chose not to put 70 past us is ridiculous, the reason they didn't was because we never gave in and infact put some good tackling stints in on our line especially towards the end. The effort was massive by us today not only with the players missing but obviously players playing that shouldn't be. For gods sake we know things are pretty grim at the minute but give credit where its due. Also thought we played some good rugby to score our tries.

Maybe but we got a couple in our favour as well, don't be one-eyed about this. The Leeds disallowed try after a couple of minutes was fine and Scruton will probably face a trip to the disicplinary for a high shot that wasn't given right in front of our posts. Leeds are a much better side than they showed today despite what you might want to believe. Good to see we didn't give up and it was 100% better than thursdays game but they cruised that. Our main tactic is give it Ali and see what he can do, which in the dry wasn't too bad today but we are going to burn the old fella out before summer!
I do want to give a shout out to Daniel Smith though. For me our most consistent player all season, for such a young lad he puts a real shift in week in week out.

Poor post, I mean things are bad but no need to make up scenarios that didn't actually happen.
It has to have been an improvement on thursday because I was at that one - and anything like that performance would have ended up in a 70 point stuffing if Leeds were in 4th gear.

| We scored a couple of nice tries looking at the highlights but some of those defensive misses are pretty poor. We've now conceded 40 points or more in 5 of our 9 games this season, its not difficult to see where the problem lies. Webster needs to focus purely on that as we are not giving ourselves a chance.

| The effort was there yesterday but we still cant defend and it was still another hammering.9 games on trott we conceded first now and thats 7 defeats on the bounce or 3 wins out of 16.when we go into the middle 8 we wont have any confidence what so ever and a coach who cant install anything else and i see us finishing 7th at best.
People wont like me tipping us to fail but its my honest opinion

We scored 18 points' more against the league leaders at their place than we did against a side that would have been bottom of the league had we beat them last Thursday night, and you said it's not an improved performance. It would be interesting to learn how you play in cruise control though, perhaps had we allowed them to get out of "cruise control" they may have scored 70pts+ but I'm sure they stuck to their game plan to limit their score to 48 while at the same time allowing us to score 4 try's, It's good that leeds could leave such as McGuire on the bench, unfortunately we don't have the luxury of having our best players' on the bench because of injuries' otherwise Anderson Paea Simon Kirke Ashurst, and Annakin could help the other allegedly injury free forwards' help the apparently can't be bothered Smith gain some forward momentum, but at least we can be grateful that they thankfully eased off in the second half, behave yourself
