Lineham is one of our very highest paid players and gives absolutely nothing in return. For a club continually stating it has no money he is that last type of guy you need in the squad. The stick is not without justification in my opinion.

From my understanding Lineham, Gaskill, Tafua and Proctor produce a combined cost approaching £400K . In my opinion not one of them serves a useful purpose. If we had someone who knew a bit about rugby and could use that to sign a couple of top quality players , this team would be a far more competitive entity.
I am sick of hearing our plight is down to money, yes it doesn't help, but stupid rugby decisions are the reason we are struggling.

Kershaw was at major fault for 2 tries last week infact he shouolld of stopped them both hate to think had it been lineham,and no im no fan but the lad isnt playing.

Prity sure we pay over the top for players that would find it difficult to join any other SL club.
The clubs reluctance to spend reasonable money on qualitys left the club vulnerable, it's the clubs own fault.
The fat better solution would have been to add a quality player to it's ranks every season.

Kershaw wasn’t at major fault for 2 tries last week. Maybe one.

Ashurst getting stepped on the inside was what was at major fault.

Dagger putting a kick into McShane to race away and end up with Eden was the major fault. Kershaw could have probably made a better attempt granted but the damage was done.

The last one i seem to think he could’ve done better however.

I have no issue with Kershaw who will leave everything out on the pitch. He is week in week out one of our top meter makers too. He does have his flaws but over time they may become less frequent.

Lineham wasn’t terrible when he played but he was only just average at best imo. It’s not his fault though he’s on a good contract. He was offered it afterall. He’s effectively a squad rotation/back up option for the squad as it stands.

The 2nd and 3rd try both should of been stopped by by lee no ifs or buts and had that been lineham everybody would of been rging.ive nothing against either i know lee would of been gutted but it is what it is,if we are to be totally honest both are championship standard,and as you say its not toms fault what contract he was offered,just feel its infair to pick players out who aint even playing

We may not all agree but this game is the defining match for our coaching team. We have a strong team based on our weak squad, we are at home and against the promoted team. I regret effort alone is no longer acceptable, he may be thick skinned and believes in his ability but another failure should be making him question if he is doing the team any favours. I have no doubt the support of the board is genuine because they made the rash decision to appoint him and egos are such would never admit they made a mistake.
I suppose it could be that for them they haven’t because how many coaches would settle for the current squad.

I have to go for a Leigh win. Dickie birds are telling me Kelepi Tanginoa is Leigh bound. Not sure it's this or next season.

I think it's a reasonable enough rumour to put out. The way things are going down the pan, Kelepi and many others will be free agents come the end of the season.

This is something I can’t understand, if everyone in RL believes trinity are getting relegated this year (understandably)Then why would a player from any other club agree to a swap deal to join trinity, knowing they would have to find another club next season, makes more sense to me to sit tight where you are for now.

EXACTLY !! the only player that would agree to come our way is someone who has no contract for next season and is desperately trying to find a club. Logic suggests such players are not that good.

He knew he was not being offered another contract at Hull KR and that his appearances would be limited. The obvious solution is to move to us knowing our squad is so poor to virtually guarantee game time. He may feel he would stand out in our team increasing his chances of securing a SL contract.

I didn't mean the swap was on. I meant there were rumours of a swap after Hall but he's now in the team so made up.

I believe a swap deal was on with Ava Seumanufagai until Ben Nakubuwai got injured.

Why would Leigh swap a starting player in a team doing quite well in Super League, with an injured player from a team odds on to go down and release him anyway.

For me it's just more believable that he signed for next year.....but I don't think we've reached that window anyway.

Should have gone for Seumanufagai instead of Atoni as he was proven in Super League…

Going to be a busy boy Tanginoa. He’s off to Warrington, Salford, Wigan & Saints as well apparently.
