Was wondering why Wigan could recall McDonnell and O'Neill from their respective loan clubs but we haven't done the same with Greensmith and Bailey ?

It would seem to be an ideal opportunity to have given Greensmith some SL experience imo.

If he can be recalled then I just don't see why he isn't?
I really don't see what the point of homegrown players is, if we don't give them the chance when it comes up - like now!

I’ll take the opener, sometimes you need the luck on your side however you can’t knock Jowitt for the quick thinking, Johnstone for the show of pace and ability to find his inside man and Hampshire backing up the play.

Lovely just before the half. Scruffy first half by the sounds but they’re not all pretty!

Come on, lets keep it up now. Wigan will absolutely come out in the second half and play to the conditions, we have shown we can hold our own in defence, just need to cut out the silly errors and penalties and oh start running through the middle with some intent!! And we will win this game.

Strange game, Wigan look more energetic, have had most of the territory on the back of our ill discipline, been held up a number of times but Trinity lead at half time. Much like the season so far we have not looked like scoring when in the 20 and were it not for the quick thinking of Jowitt then Johnstone it would be 0-0. Defence has been excellent, attack needs some work. Lino needs to take on the line more.

They may have been held up a few times but we were quite controlled there. They lack creativity more than we do which says something.
