I don't have an issue with you not being a Bibey fan or that you don't especially rate him. However without getting overly PC about this when you use the terms to describe him in your post you destroy your argument.

He may not be world class and perhaps only borderline SL, but he has put in a good stint this year and played to the best of his ability. The level of that ability is open to debate, I actually think he has been our best prop this season, however all things are relative.

I will be sad to see him go but accept his limitations and I suspect we have got the best out of the lad. To describe his efforts as you have done is sadly idiotic, very few players desrve those accolades and IMO Bibey isn't one.

Hi all, we ( leigh centurions ) yesterday introduced new siginig ricky bibey on a 3 yr deal to the crowd. I belive wakefied gave us permission to announce this early. what are your honest thoughts on how he as gone for you and how he will be in the championship for us ( if we avoid relegation ). cheers wayne.

I'd have quite happily kept him. Does the hard work and over the last year has improved in both consistency and contribution. Best of luck with him.

Thought he played well today, as he has done for the whole season to be fair. Not the type of player who you are gonna be devastated about losing, but a good solid player who's done a good job for us this season.

Wish him well at Leigh and think he'll be a great signing for them.

Don't think Bibey has ever had such a continuous run of decent form. In the three seasons (?) we've had him the comments from the fans have been generally positive. But at the end of the day it ALWAYS comes down to money.

Ricky has been the epitomy of a good steady prop forward. Puts in the tackles and the yards... always makes himself available for hard work.

I can honestly say I have enjoyed watching Ricky in a Wakefield shirt and I am sorry to see him move on... good luck and thanks for the effort and hard work the team.

Yes agree with all you say, JK should be very proud with what he as done with these players.

He thinks yesterday may possibly be his last game for us this season, he has been playing most of his recent games with a shoulder injury & is due to have an operation this week.
