| Quote ="Fishermanscap"Hull knocked on five times in the first 20 minutes, no team should win the first half let alone the game with stats like that. We are so dreadful we can’t even exploit that. At least two of Hulls tries would have been stopped by a competent pub team!
Today was atrocious even in a season full of atrocious performances.
No way am I ever going to stop supporting Trinity but I honestly don’t think I can justify buying a season ticket next year. I know all the arguments about it being counter productive but when your head coach can’t see the obvious then why should I?
Sorry MC but you’ve been stuffed by a coach and a number of players who you put your trust in, Miller in particular. Get rid now whilst you still have a chance of at least one up game that a new coach usually brings, it’s our only chance of a win imo.
I’d suggest McDermott, mainly because he’s the only available coach with any experience who is available. Tragic really.'"
Thought McDermott was coach of Toronto.

| Quote ="trin77"For once in his career Chester has got to actually BE a head coach and get miller and brough in Monday and tell them they're going out of the team for the rest of the season. They're abysmal and have been all year. Anyone who thinks differently can't be watching the same team. Stop wasting our size and use the big men. Get Pauli back in and tell him to just ram it in down the middle. We've got the go forward but it falls to bits 30m out. We only lost by 10 but for me Hull were always comfortable.'"
You've hit the nail on the head but I just don't think Chester has got the balls to do it. It's so obvious what is happening with keeping the halves as they are & building the team around them everybody's playing out of position & nobody knows what they should be doing it is poor coaching I've got to say & as much as I don't like it MC should be telling him to sort this or get out

| I think it is time to rest Brough because I have not seen him have any influence on the team and his kicking game albeit occasionally successful is usually well known by the opposition. I think you cannot blame Miller because last season he was one of our better performers therefore I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope the loss of form relates to his half back partner.

| To be honest I don't see why people are criticising Miller.
He stepped up today and took the play off Brough.
Escare was OK but I thought Tanginoa, Arundal and probably Kirmond were above him in Mom.
Lots of effort today.
The two interceptions were the difference.
For a change they didn't just break us at will, in fact we pinned them back for long stretches. Apart from the breakaway interception the defense was good or at least good enough.
Our attack was the issue.
Poor passing down the line especially from Brough really hurt us. Miller was taking passes off his feet and at full stretch above his head.
I thought BJB did some great defense today.
Arundal was great when he got half decent ball. He'd play centre for me next week instead of Tupou.
Hampshire try was excellent but equally he let Sneyd run right round him for the solo try.
Lots to work on. Need to get it right next week.

| If we had of had a nifty half back who kicked two forty-twenties, a nice little grubber to bounce of the posts and then gone on to take the line on himself, then we would been sitting more comfortably.
Tries from forward passes apiece.
An intercept try and stray passed that should have been mopped up was the most frustrating.

Kirmond man of the match for me. Errors by Tanginoa and Hampshire gave Hull the game from 6-0 to 6-20

| Thought tour best forward today was, believe it or not, kirmond.
Every kick off bar one from Broughie went to the same player on exactly the same spot.
We all can see that the Brough/Miller partnership doesn't work, so how come the man that matters doesn't.
It really must have reached panic point. I don't know of any other Team Coach that plays so many players out of position than Chester does
I honestly cannot see any other points coming our way this season..

| The first half was p1ss poor in all areas. Brough is spent and 99% of us think so but I cannot see a change coming soon. Miller has youth and speed and ran a bit more direct in the second half but there is zero understanding between them.
Hull KR have a thinking coach and unless we accept what is wrong, we are totally boraxed.

Thought kt was pick of the forwards personally but thought kirmond ran him close.
Was a slightly better performance by the pack , but backs generally have been shocking - since hi hand injury brough has been a shadow of hi self , miller has been poor all season , Reynolds didn’t make the grade, Hampshire at least tries.
It’s remarkable with the exception of Huddersfield the last time we won a game was April 22 nd , it’s been worst season of last ten years - Chester seems to have lost the plot

Exactly Sacred. Bizzare selections with yet again players out of position.

Speedy half backs to offset the guile of McGuire and Drinkwater.

| Our defence was decent for most of it, but we never looked like scoring. When Rocky passed the ball to Tumavave, I thought we were on top and at that point it could have been a different game.
But they put Brough under pressure each time. We didn't put Sneyd under pressure. Thankfully, Hull misfired today.
I just think we look a spent force. We're playing relegation rugby. My worry is that Hull KR will be safe by the time they play London, by beating us mainly, and may take the eye off the ball when they play London. Next week is all or nothing. Rovers win and they'll let London in. We win and we're safe, pretty much so, as KR and London will take points off each other in the penultimate game.
Except I can't see us scoring tries, and Rovers are going well.

| There are so many players who simply aren't producing anything, it's difficult to pick who to drop and how many of them.
For me Miller is 1st out. I dread the ball reaching him on the last play of any set.

Yeah, the Miller/Finn partnership was far superior to what we have now and Miller looks to have suffered from it. I'm not saying he's not SL standard but he does seem to have lost some form, so for his, and the team's sake, I'd drop him.

It’s been the story for month now. I broadly agree with you, effort and fitness are not the issue it’s basic team work.
I don’t agree with you regarding Miller, sorry but he’s gash at the moment imo.
