I felt the book was an embarrasment to him and the game, I bet Basil rates him highly now! I suppose the next one will be about rugby league but I wont be topping up his pension.

Sportinglife suggest we may be looking at bringing him in until the end of the season, we have plenty of space under the cap which Hull do not.
Agent is touting him around the NRL sides with a view to playing down under next year.

Would make sense we could accommodate him short term if he gets an NRL for next year. The thing that may go against him is that they don't usually like players with a dodgy back ground in their league so the ARL might not even let a team register him in theory.

Not really Khlav, he had almost 2 years left on his Wigan deal, if he was good enough for them then he's good enough for anyone!
I wonder if Hull will need to release anyone to fit Gleeson in. Wouldn't mind Whiting but I suppose a few clubs would be after him too.

In the end someone is going to get a Raw deal from this scenario. It's just a matter of if someone takes there bat and ball home with regards to FC and decides to move on. We can only wait and see what transpires.

Whereas Wigan got rid of Gleeson after just one slight misdemeanour?????????????
Don't kid yourself that he is any better than Tansey. The only hope is that he realises that he might not get many more chances. This is not sour grapes by the way I would be saying the same if we had signed him. |

I can't see this ending well - Gleeson and Long together again is bad medicine for Hull.
I hope it works out for him though - he's a talented player and it wouldn't be nice to see his career end ignominiously.
